I ran into the same problem. Every mass grave which I thought would have been exumed, turns out Hitler and Himmler cared enough about being found out that in the middle of a war they found time to dig up the mass pits leaving behind no trace.

I thought there would have to be evidence at Treblinka as this was the one place which didn't have a furness then I saw this.

Look, here's the long and short of it. I went through the same process and this is what I learned:

Holocaust believers make the "official documents", studies and physical evidence hard to find because their portrayal of the Germans and their actions during WW2 is exaggerated.

The way to justify your actions against an enemy is to convince yourself they are pure evil. This has always been the case.

Holocaust deniers, and I mean deniers here and not revisionists (much more time consuming to go through all the points they want to revise, some are right, some aren't) are aware of the historical precedent and effectiveness of pure good vs. pure evil, and often use it themselves, but ignore it and point the difficulty of finding the evidence for mass killings etc as evidence that it never happened at all.

So overall, as is pretty much always the case, both main camps are filled with a bunch of fucking liars perpetuating two opposing lines of propaganda, and you shouldn't listen to either.

Having sat down and confirmed the evidence for this conclusion to my satisfaction at the time, Jews were deliberately rounded up and sent to camps with the intention of killing them. Millions were subsequently killed. Germans and Jews were mutually antagonistic, and the Jews lost out in the short term.

Any conclusions beyond this is up to you; who's evil, who's not, and so forth.

OP, give this book a read. It's a great introduction into the subject, sides more with revisionism and brings up a lot of good points.

Also there are books that detailed the trial of Zundel, try and find one of those. Lots of historians making solid points to defend Zundel and ocassionally outright BTFO the holocaust defenders.
