I'm thinking more and more lately that pop music is a form of MKUltra like mind control forced on society in masse.

Many of these artists come out of nowhere and become sensations overnight. Who listened to Katy Perry or Ke$ha, etc. before they got on the radio? Where did they come from?

My theory is that whoever pulls the strings here has figured out the general "formula" to music that's easy to get a society addicted to. You listen to these songs and they're all so similar in style and structure. Now this could all just be something somebodies figured out to make $$$ off of, but I'm skeptical that is may be more nefarious.

Society begins to idolize these people. These people then act out, dress in certain ways, etc. as a means to shape their fans. It's so easy because "On tv/radio = famous = someone to idolize". If you put the artist there and give them an unnaturally addicting song, you gain control of some.

So, with all this media hype a bout Russia supposedly training/funding/controlling all the "populist" right wing party leaders (Trump, Farage, LePen, etc) I've realzied one very surprising thing.

Why is Corbyn never accused of being a Putin plant? I can't remember it being even considered or hinted at. Think about it. If any populist political leader were to be a Kremlin plant... it would be Corbyn.

Capitalism is predicated on the idea that everyone following their own self interest and competing freely will produce a better result than a state-driven economy that subsidizes inefficient industries and trades economic opportunities for political favors. Human nature is insurmountable, the economy functions better as a free-for-all arena than as a government project by politicians that want to pad their pockets and power.

What happens in 20 years when basic labor jobs are completely replaced by automation? When all vehicles are self-driving, all data-entry is automatic, all groceries and goods delivered by drone? What do the uneducated/uneducatable do? What happens to this surplus population that cannot perform intellectual labor? What happens to the countries that nobody works in? The basic premise will no longer function, the rich will only need to employ a vanishingly small proportion of the population for creative labor, the rest of the work will be peformed by machines and robots. The owners will take in 100% of that profit and continue draining the wealth of the rest of the world like a tick. They will manufacture their own machines. Bloodshed is inevitable.
