I have heard that in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina there was some real end times Mad Max shit that went on in terms of people trying to survive and/or take advantage of the situation. Intuitively it makes sense that this was the case. It also makes sense that the media would want to keep the lid on this particular type of story and instead focus on the racism or failure in governmental response angle.

I'm looking for any kind of resource or publication or story about the lawlessness and carnage that followed. I find it extremely interesting.
