After seeing what is going on with CNN threatening to doxx a 15 year old youth, I feel things have gotten out of hand. I know that some may not align with /u/HanAssSolo, but I think it is necessary that we should, as good citizens and defenders of our Constitutional liberties, should stand with him. Mr. AssSolo was making a mere satirical work, and CNN responds in such a childish way. Is this how public discourse should work. Is this the tyranny that America wants? I can tell you that this is a problem that people from r/BannedFromThe_Donald also experience to some extent (I was banned from r/The_Donald too before). Free speech must be upheld. CNN, a media agency that exists in the United States because of the 1st Amendment is now turning against it because a satirist did not agree with them? Citizens, this is clearly not just a conservative problem: this is an AMERICAN problem. Liberals, moderates, and conservatives must join hands and take back our freedoms together. Lose your chains that separate and polarize us. Citizens of America unite, for you have your rights to win!

How goes it? Grad schemes openings have closed so it looks like another 2 months of no job.

Pretty damn pissed about it too. Hiring based on class and looks continues to be a cancer within numerous professions.

It seems companies, even huge multinationals, already have an image of what they want their staff to look like - even if they performed below par in their tests.

Companies love to talk about how diverse they are but it's really all just lip service. 95% of the time they pick Jack with the posh accent and laddish demeanour, or Tabitha with a 2.1 in English from Exeter. There's really no space for us minorities or indeed fatties, uggos, non-posh people or nerds.

Don't think I've seen this yet on /pol/.
So prior to the CIA, we used to have the Office of Strategic Services. It was nixed after WW2, and the CIA was put in its place. In the OSS there wasn't nearly as much separation between intel gathering, and military forces making use of that intel.

To me I can't see any logical reason to put a wall between those who gather actionable intel, and those who actually act on it. I was wondering it anyone might have some justification for this, that I'm simply not seeing.
