Can someone explain to me why citizens of the United States feel the need to own assault weapons and other instruments of mass extinction? You know, the kind that can blow a hole in the side of an elephant, because that is what they need for "home defense."

Don't you pay taxes for police and armed forces to protect you and yours? Why do you personally need to own such a deadly weapon?

Think of how much safer your country would be if randos weren't committing acts of savage violence with automatic rifles!

Going to graduate next year with BS in mechanical engineering. Now that many of my peers are graduating and I am networking with alum, I was surprised at just how soul-sucking the engineering industry is. Most people I know that have found work fucking hate their job and are doing little more than brainless intern work with modelling software. Most people, I think, are sold on the idea of making new things that help people or advance civilization in some meaningful way. The reality is that they will contribute a small part in making something already designed x percentage more efficient than the old model. For 99% of them, there is no hands-on experience. They will never see their own products. It's an empty and dull experience. And the amount of corporate shilling is disgusting. Engineering companies are often the worst when it comes to Jew-like tactics and SJW policies. What do you lot think?

We can easily combat famines in Africa and help kids survive. We don't because of some weird fetish for "natural selection".

This is just wrong. Africa's fertility rate will only go down once their society is wealthier. So if we want them to have a stable continent with a normal fertility rate, we should invest a lot of money in Africa and increase our foreign aid budgets.
