Stupid fucking cold war era style fear mongering. Yes, we should absolutely be prepared for war (at all times, really). No, we shouldn't buy into the media hype. North Korea understands they can't go to war with the west and win and they won't unless China/Russia is in full military support, triggering WWIII. We may not be on the best of terms with either, but we're on way better terms with both than NK. Can't believe people here have such terrible memory loss that they seem to somehow forget about the recent past the moment they see a breaking news headline. Just because they have nukes doesn't mean they will strike, even if they say they will. They're just setting up a defensive posture from the rest of the world.

Is it just me or is there a common misconception that only losers and skinhead types embrace far right ideologies? I don't buy it for a second.

I'm 25 years old, have a university degree, and am currently sitting in my car shitposting while my employees make money for me. Most of my right wing friends are also ambitious and successful people.

Where does this misconception come from and how do we combat it?

Is it as simple as living a successful life as individuals or is there more we can do on a collective level?
