Ask a normie anything about politics

I don't frequent 4chan, much less /pol/, but I'm itching to start a shitty argument about politics so here I am.

Quick summary of my views:
I try to be apolitical, or at least centrist, but I definitely lean left. Science over politics, globalism over tribalism. Trump is kind of a dipshit. The alt-right is autism but so is antifa. There is no political system without flaws (often major flaws). People, and therefore politics are way more complex than most people would like to admit.

News outlets I take seriously: Politico, The Economist, FiveThirtyEight, Reuters, NPR, Al Jazeera and various apolitical science outlets

News outlets I don't take seriously: Vice (killer documentaries though), Breitbart, Fox, CNN, Vox, NYT, huffington post, the atlantic, and anything that's obviously alt-right or alt-left

Hopefully there's enough here to trigger someone, lets get this going.

Hey /Pol/, this happened yesterday at the scene of that car crash, about 20 minutes or so after it happened. I had went to go check out what happened on the way to get pizza, when two guys confronted me and accused us of being apart of it. I believe I came face to face with paid rabblerousers, as they were clearly changing what I was saying, attempting to make it okay to hit me. I'd like some help finding the videos involved and the guy who hit me, as directly after this I was hit with pipes and batons.

Many are dependent on subsistence farming that requires long hours of hard outdoor labor.
"That makes them very vulnerable to these climatic changes,” said MIT professor of environmental engineering Elfatih Eltahir, one of the co-authors.
The study shows that on the current business-as-usual trajectory of carbon emissions these deadly heat waves could hit the region within a few decades with potentially devastating impacts on the fertile Indus and Ganges River Basins that produce much of the region's food supply.
