Given the society's technological potential, is the free market capitalism still the best choice for shaping the future of mankind? Think of all the human potential that is wasted on utter shit like entertainment, cheap food and the likes (gender studies!). The question is: Can we do better? I very much tend to believe so. In a coordinated effort, we could reach for the stars and allow everyone to live like a kang.

How should a government be organized so we can make the most of our potential? Has fascism become a viable alternative again?

Am I missing something in this whole Charlottesville business? Widespread condemnation by virtually everybody, and calls for Trump to be "impeached" and "executed" because he refused to condemn a few hundred men who held a legal and peaceful march with torches? Men who were themselves attacked with acid, bats, and bricks? Incessant cries that Trump has thereby "defended Nazis" when there were probably only one or two in the entire rally, most it being comprised of people who simply wanted the founding stock of the country to remain the majority? This is national hysteria.

Australia Day: Yarra Council considers move to rename day, move citizenship ceremony.
YARRA Council could rename Australia Day to “January 26” and dump its citizenship ceremony out of respect to Aboriginal Australians.

The council should drop all references to Australia Day to “acknowledge the pain and disconnection” felt by the Aboriginal community, according to an internal report released today.

In place of a citizenship ceremony it could hold an event marking indigenous genocide.

In a council survey, less than 50 per cent of respondents said the council should support the #changethedate campaign, while 28 per cent had never heard of it.

But the council will lobby the Federal Government to change the date and join the campaign on social media.

Yarra Councillor Stephen Jolly (https://twitter.com/stephenjolly99) said the report showed that the council took reconciliation seriously.

Is it possible to break the leftist echo chamber. I was rewatching some classic "debates" with leftists/SJW and I am always surprised how much rage and anger I can supress, while hearing them argue their emotional bs.
Something I have noticed is, how they cannot be reasoned with, especially when being in a group. Whenever one seems to be realising their contradictions, some other zecke (german slur for leftist) spouts the same nonsense and everything resets, except their smug face like having won the argument.
So how can one deal with them, break their echo chamber and bring back rational thinking?
