Have we identified the mongoloid who displayed a Nazi flag and, who wittingly or otherwise, played directly into press narratives and normy preconceptions? Who was he? Why was he allowed to associate with the broader group? Why wasn't he confronted? Why were people throwing Nazi solutes the night before? This was an unmitigated disaster. Ordinary people were repulsed by the optics of this mess. Moreover, because of the events that unfolded, quite a few active members of the "Alt-Right" will leave. Prospective members -- people actually on the verge of showing up to events -- will now avoid doing so. This is not desirable. The core of the "Alt-Right" will be distilled to dregs with nothing to lose, self-employed individuals and a handful of people like Richard.

This is why we shouldn't build a movement around a specific term or brand like the "Alt-Right" -- this must be avoided. This is also why identitarians should not be centralized under Richard Spencer or anyone else. Not only is Richard naive and rather cringe-inducing at times, in organizing things around him we risk (a) establishing a cult of personality and (b) having the whole thing collapse if something happens to Richard. I don't mean to be excessively critical, but Spencer, in bashing Kessler, shows an incredible lack of loyalty. He does this with others as well, he's almost capricious. Why has he tossed Jason under the bus? Richard is a publicity hound and I would advice people to avoid hitching their wagon to him.

Start your own groups. We're united by a set of fundamental beliefs. This ought to organized as a very loose confederation or union of individuals and organizations as opposed to a monolith.

I've been watching the events in Charlottesville unfold since yesterday. And it's been burning me up inside.

One of the largest gatherings of white supremacists in recent history and people are actually defending them? No. Not no, but hell no.

Here's the deal, people. Yes, everyone has a right to free speech and the right to express it. There are plenty of gray areas that we can debate over. Gun laws, healthcare, etc. These are topics that have valid arguments from the left and right. But at the end of the day, right is right and wrong is wrong. There are certain things that have no gray area.

Repeat after me. WHITE SUPREMACISTS ARE BAD.

We fought an entire World War over this. If you're standing up for these Nazi bastards, then you're part of the problem. These people are indoctrinated and radicalized. Much like ANY OTHER TERRORIST GROUP.

These type of people are one of the worst parts of living in the South. They're so open and prevalent down here. And they were indoctrinated; TAUGHT to be that way. Hell, I'm 31 years old and I still have to correct my own thinking sometimes because when you grow up around racism, it gets buried deep in your mind.
So here it is. Line in the sand time. You either stand with these Nazi-armband-wearing, Confederate flag-waving white supremacists or you stand on the side of equal rights for all humankind. You can't do both. And I think I've made my position pretty clear.
