Hey /pol/. The "terrorist attack" on the Muslims at Finsbury sounds a little bit dodgy for me. From what I've heard, the people that published the "I'm gonna kill all Muslims" narrative were Buzzfeed, and that happened before the police started and finished investigating what the fuck happened. We also know Muslims will try and spin the narrative their way, from experience.
I was lurking when the Bike Lock guy and HWNDU sagas were going on, and it was a hell of a lot of fun, but I want to take it to the next level and see if we can tackle this thing and investigate it.

Title: A white male perspective on race politics in the United states

Talking about race is like playing with explosives. Talking about race as a white male is like playing with explosives whilst holding a burning match.

I know that whatever I say is sure to upset somebody no mater how carefully I think I'm being. so I'm just going to speak and use words in a way that comes naturally to me. This will probably be interpreted as racism by some and they may be right. But from a white male perspective of ignorance this is the perspective I hold.

Black people need to get their shit together.

The narrative I so often hear from “people of color” is about oppression from a white ruling class. The white male. How the white system intrinsicly favours the white male and how it needs to be changed to give equal opportunity to everyone. How people of color are trapped within a white system.

I can understand that. Or at least I think I understand that. Everyone SHOULD be given equal opportunity.

But what I see is people of color looking up to a white authority. People of color looking up to a white authority asking for rights. asking for equality within this “white” system. Asking a white authority to hand down its power.
