Personally I like seeing what others are making, even if it isn't my hobby. And each origami thread that comes along is like a little gem.

We're all pretty agreeable hobbyists when compared to others like /m/ or /toy. Papercrafters don't come into legit origami threads and whine about us being wannabe Japanese (because why would they?), we don't go into their threads and complain about stolen models (because why would we?).

It takes a certain inner calm to either fold one-thousand paper cranes or redo a WH40K fold four times because you messed up an arm. I like to think of it as taoism rather than autism.
