where can i find this/something similar to this?
I don't mind paying but i haven't come across anything close....
>>549089
go back where you found that pics (richie89 on deviant art
) and offer money to the maker of the phoenix in exchange of the phoenix or of a tutorial.
But if richie89 is smart it'll cost you a lot.
>>549089
Well, you surely won't be getting the diagram for that one since the guy made it without one.
The closest I can think of is this

In the spirit of the holidays here is a step by step video of how to make a swastica paper origami
> How to make an Origami Swastika 卐
> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCm5ZqFuyDI
> The swastika (from Sanskrit svástika) is an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles, in either right-facing (卐) form or its mirrored left-facing (卍) form.
> The swastika symbol became (as it had long been in the Asian World) a popular symbol of luck in the Western world in the early 20th century.
Just thought that would interest you guys.

ha I realized halfway through the vid that im on /po/ and not /pol/ confusing stuff man.
>>548688
here is a swastika "fold and cut" i've made some time ago.
Fold the paper along red and blue lines (one color is for moutain the other for valey) and give a straight cut along one precise line, the square of paper is splited in 2 pieces and on is a swastika !
I you have a jewish (or SJW) friend you can ask him to make the cut, he won't realise he's making a swastika till it's too late.

look lads, another pasty loser who uses "race theory" to sheild himself from his own inadequecies.
Can someone identify these or can you post the instructions possibly? It's a lamp of some type.

Is this an enjoyable hobby that can keep my mind at ease?
I really like the more intricate Touhou and other otaku related papercraft I've seen, I hope I can make those eventually.
Is it good to just start with a traditional paper bird and work from there?
You are referring to two different hobbies in your post. Papercraft is not origami, and vice versa.
If you want to start papercraft, just choose a simple looking model and try it out (like a 1 or 2 sheeter). If you can't do it, just choose something simpler. If it is too easy, choose something harder.
For origami, either start with a website like
http://en.origami-club.com/
or look up books by John Montroll whom most of the people on here started out on (including myself).
Does anyone have the pdo file of this model?
no pdo is available for this model. this model is only available from etsy for ~ $80 and they send you the pre-cut pieces. i know this because i bought it 2 years back.

80$ for laser cutted pieces of cardboard... This is not reasonnable.
I found some other models, but sadly only one is free and i think OP's one is better.
I would have posted the links for the models if this fucking cunt of antispam bot didn't prevented me to do it...
This reminded me how much i hate pinterest and etsy, and most of all i found pic related.
god damn you, you stupid antispam bot...

no it is not considering the paper is like 100gsm. pretty flimsy stuff for something of this size but does hold 'ok' when it is built. i just had some extra cash at the time and if i was smarter back then i would of invested that $80 into a cameo and learn to do this stuff myself. alot of these "low poly" papercrafts are becoming very popular on etsy and it seems they are selling very well. for example that shop has over 5000 sales since 2013 and they charge like $20-$110 for a model. that is some crazy profit if you ask me.
I need help on step 8 I can't fold it in shown way, Does it want me to cut it??? I can't find intructions :C
Yeah, looks like it, I got to that part (looks cool, nice squash fold) and there's no way without cutting it.
>>546564
Yes, cut those two lines.
Also, step 9 involves another cut in the middle bottom part.
This is so cute. Where did you find that, OP?

I'll reply in 2018.

Basketball is not very popular in Japan.
But are you popular in your country?
I made this pop-up card.
Is it interesting, I'd like some feedback.

That's pretty cool.
Are there any free templates for buildings like these? Im looking for the modern stuff.
heres some more pics. i cant find any templates for these beauties.
>>548858
>>548855
you cant find them because the fucker who made them sells them for a ridiculous price (like if it was news, fucking hipster assholes) i wanted to do some but there is something that shitfuck does have and that is some decent images of those brutalist buildings, if you could get me pictures i could use to make them then maybe we could get these for free
>>548922
i've thought of buying them but its like 6 bucks for one building. i want the templates bad, but not that bad.
Hi /po/.
I've been trying to recreate a model scale battle in Southern Lebanon but I can't find a template for a (((Merkava))) tank. Please?

Go google
Miniature weapons made out of tiny cardboard pieces, bic pen tubes, paint, and tons of free time

the want to do, is growing strong
how'd you make them?
that's pretty cool OP
Cool, I love that Galil
i'm quite new at origami and someone can tell me some youtubers who tech some things? i watch ez origami and jo nakashima (pic of last thing i've tried to do)
>>546878
Jeremy shafer, tadashi mori, henry pham, Rickman origami, fearless flourish, T.T.Dong origami, origami sage, quiet maverick, and seth Friedman
Jo nakashima has a great tutorial vid for origami fireworks. The part where you connect the ring together can be a real bitch, but it is a relatively easy modular project with simple folds.

So I used to fold origami as a kid, but I haven't done so for 6+ years. I'm trying to get back into folding, but I am having trouble understanding a lot of the online diagrams.
I am mainly looking for more simplistic designs that I can memorize so I can fold them away from home.
What books/websites would you suggest I use to get back into folding? Also, are there any good apps for origami folding?
Pic is what I have made over thanksgiving.
youtube
books maybe? theys a bunch of pds leaked around this forum
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B3-i1QT9mOBlaGdFT1dwUHRTcVk
found this in another thread, there's a shit ton of books there
what have you guys been making?
anyone make animals and know any simple folds?
Takeshi's buddha and a bird base dragon. Tried making Sleipnir the other day out of wrapping paper, but it was too small to shape (~2in long)
>>531837
Cute trap.
>>531838
that's really intricate. what are the dimensions of the paper used for the taekshi buddha?
