If it was, at least there would be a reason to use such a ridiculous term as "personal essence of humanity". As it is you could have just said "portrait thread" and not sound like an asshat.

And anyway, "personal essence of humanity" would imply something that is common to all humans, and I don't see how the mundane portraits lacking any sort of commonality (apart from being low DF portraits) entail that at all.
