Lol, is this the bosque?
The backgrounds of the first 4 are ugly and distracting. They scream that it was your first photoshoot and didn't think or notice because you were focussed too much on the model.
>>2756246
Did you fug her?
Her eyebrows gave me cancer
didnt you post this tomboy before?
i xray'd her tits that time lmao.
>>2756246
the traps belong in /b/
>>2756250
I like this one, the way the line from her outstretched leg goes on to her leaned back posture is interesting. Also shes a qt
>>2756336
>Nope.
You prefer male pussy?
>>2756246
Why did you stop this one down to f/4.5? f/1.4 or f/2 would've blurred out the busy background much more.
>>2756443
When I got a full frame camera and fast lens, I spent the first year shooting only at f/1.8-f/2.2. I became addicted to bokeh. So, I'm trying to kick the habit.
Besides, I think f/4.5 works here, I don't want the background completely blurred out, I like that there's still some detail. But that's just me.
These pics look way too forced. Model doesn't know how to have interesting expressions. And is kind of ugly.
First off, the obvious things: her eyebrows look painted-on as all hell. It's jarring. No-one has eyebrows like bleedin' Leonard Nimoy on a 1960s Star Trek set. It doesn't look good when shot head-on as in the first pic (they look crooked and uneven, which hurts me in the autism nerve).
Anyway, I get where you're going with the background framing in the first shot. Too bad about the branches on the left, and the high-DOF portrait aesthetic (only really works on that particular kind of 6x6 MF pic, the kind you see all over flickr).
In the second, my eyes are drawn to her cameltoe. Do something to hide that, or at least don't make the scarf's edge lead straight into it.
The third is fine, but the half-bokeh is worst of both worlds. Pick an approach and commit. Also I kind of feel that the model's position and posture aren't properly bringing out her not-quite-white ethnic traits, which you should be exploiting much harder anyway.
The fourth one needs a coke can for scale, because she looks tiny. The boots don't combine well at all.
The fifth needs a better B&W conversion, because the red sure wasn't that dark in the colour pictures. Also, tone the sky down, it's blasting holes in my eyes.
Cute model though.
shes cute.

>I don't want the background completely blurred out, I like that there's still some detail.
if you dont want to bokeh, you should have something to cut the subject out of the background. it should be composition, tastetul color contrast (which your pics have none), geometry contrast. also you need decent pp. then, when you dont have any of that, subject merges into the busy background.
the pp doesnt add any ambience. the skin tones are awful. hair is just terrible, like an old doll head.
the scarf is ridiculously boosted in the reds and magenta. terrible.
the lightning is shit. cant see any reflector used to make up for this. fuck this set.
the clothes are ass. she could do much better. also you clearly didnt direct her to do anything.

Looks better before, stop giving such harsh criticism when you don't know what you're talking about
>>2756527
What the actual fuck. Every decision you made in that edit was the wrong one.
>>2756534
Thanks for your contribution. Great points made. We all learned something other than your personal and absolutely useless opinion.
>>2756527
Right image looks dramatically better. Lots more polished and "final". Left looks muddy and drab. Warm tones that don't fit the feel of the image at all. right may have brightened the skin a bit too much, as she seems to lose her ethnicity.
>>2756527
you fucked the whites up bad lol
I agree that there should be something to separate the model from the background if she's not interacting with it. The lighting here is boring. I think an off camera flash or strobe, or even just a bounce to add some contrast to her skin would add a lot.
>>2756538
Don't samefag your own work

>s-stop liking w-what i don't like r-reeeeeeeeee
>>2756246
did we see her tits a while back and she has a tat ?
>>2756534

>>2756246
her nose shadow is anoning and so easy to fix

I hate to admit it but this is a good edit
>>2756527
why do you hate detail in the shadows?
>>2756688
Why would you care? What detail in those shadows is important to the portrait?
(Hint, it's none)

Also, the DOF is completely fine in the image. Whichever anon made the edits gotta be into raving bombastic photography.

its the people who give you harsh crit.
im one of them btw :^)

anon teaches OP how to click the Portra 160 preset in Lightroom
>>2756958
nah but seriously you did a pretty good job of PP, it looks far better than the original, though that's not saving much
>>2756961
youre making me blush, anon senpai.
well as a last word in this thread, i think OP needs to understand that she has a fake look and to make it work he needs to create a tale with colors. and make it look less fake too, more intentional. also the red thing made me think of red riding hood, so for me its something like that. then you get props like a basket, or a piece of fur, to imply shit beyond "this girl with hair like a wig in the middle of nowhere".
>>2756247
>>2756978
>adding grain in post
>>2757100
He is spot on with the red riding hood though.
>>2757104
oh yeah ofc. just not enjoying an anon with a weird ego being complimented on some horrible edit.
>>2756978
This is comically bad. I literally lol'd
>>2756820
Nah, I just posted the one with the borders around it.
>>2757109
>just not enjoying an anon with a weird ego being complimented on some horrible edit.
create something worth caring of, something with at least some value, and youll get attention too, anon.

Why is he so exposed? Where is the light on him coming from?
Nice boots.
>>2757418
using the screen blend mode isn't convincing because he just looks like a transparent apparition. the color of the sky shouldn't be visible over him and it's not convincing if you were going for an atmospheric effect.
