Anyone, experimenting with the Ilford direct positive paper? Photo related, one of my shots on direct positive paper in my 4x5. (1/2 sec @ f/4.5. Rated the paper at ISO1.5)

looks pretty. so one just goes and shoot and then voila theres a photo in it, or you have to develop it and such procedures.

also price?
>>
>>2750568
You develop it like normal photo paper (dev, stop, fix, wash).

About $17 for 25 sheets.
>>
>>2750564
It's a lot of trouble for such a low ISO and no possibility of enlargement at all, ever.
>>
>>2750617
Cheaper, easier to load, easier to process, immediate results. Enlargement is easy, just scan & print a contact negative.
>>
Looks good OP

can we see a shot of a person?

well thats disappointing. This is a 4x5 camera?
>>
>>2751170
Yea, 4x5. Schneider Xenar 150mm f/4.5 on a monorail Calumet.

I haven't really dialed in the exposure & development of the paper which is why I asked if anyone had experimented with it.

OP, are you pre-flashing your paper for the extra tonal range/softer contrast?
>>
>>2751189
These are not pre-flashed. These are from my first batch of tests. Next time I get chemistry mixed up I will do some pre-flash tests strips.
