The GR makes a smol clicking sound you can only hear if you put it up to your ear. It's quite adorable

My Pentax SLR is the complete opposite. It makes a very loud, mirror slapping sound. I've had people I'm photographing turn around 10+ feet away because they heard the shutter. Not really optimised for street but it does the job for sure
