What camera should I get if I want to go on week long journeys

It's sad how transparent it is when people like >>2740387 start false-flagging dumb gear question threads, as though it's not immediately obvious what they're doing. Maybe in their heads, they think that this will change the collective opinion of the board in their favor again, but to the rest of us, they just come off as emotional, obnoxious sacks of shit.

That really still depends on how much photography you want to do, of what, and so on.

I'd default to a GoPro, Yicam or smartphone camera for a low weight setup. Also has a pretty good combo with solar chargers and 18650 batteries for power.

But if you care more about photos or videos in good quality, you might take a more heavy / expensive DSLR / MILC setup with you. I really don't know where your preferences lie...
