No, focal lengths aren't "hipster" or not.

Some people sure are being "muh peers approve this high class style of shooting" - type of retard artists, and no doubt some of them like 35mm, though, but that only is attributable to the people, not to the lens focal length.

If there was one I'd say 50mm would be, like I've read some comments from HCB for why he prefers it and it came out quite like an art school hipster. But who cares, 50mm is great and I like it too.

35mm to me is always a compromise, never quite what I want. Too wide or not wide enough.
