Got a little conundrum here, /p/
>College friend tells me she's broke as fuck and wants to do porn
>Me being me my first thought is "I want to photograph her"
>Offer to take pics of her for free to practice my portraiture
>She doesn't seem too into it, doesn't think she's model material (even though she is)
Two questions: How can I convince her to give it a shot? Also, where's a good site to post them so she can make some money off it?
My first thought was suicide girls, but their "Set of the day" policy seems tricky as fuck. Any other alternatives?

Suicide Girls is a scam for both the model and photographer unless they happen to get lucky. Zivity is kind of dying, but in the past it was a way to get an okay amount of change from photo sets. I haven't shot for Godsgirls, but they're similar to SG but more friendly to creators.
Nowadays, she's probably best off with a Patreon. Lots of models shoot their own content and charge a monthly subscription fee with tiered bonuses. She can post video content there, too. If she goes down this road, she'll want to use Instagram to promote herself, and she'll need pictures for that. You can shoot them for her. Or she can just set up an account on manyvids or something like that and make her own videos, in which case she'll still do well with pictures for promotion.
Running everything herself seems like a good/safe way to get into doing porn, and she won't be forced into bad situations and can control her boundaries. It's just harder to get paid a lump sum up front.

> College friend tells me she's broke as fuck and wants to do porn
https://www.kink.com/page/become-a-model or whatever.
Of course ultimately running your own porn + prostitution business will probably be more lucrative, but succeeding from very low visibility might be hard.
> How can I convince her to give it a shot?
Well, what is she currently interested in giving a shot, and how is it related to your photography?
>>3104561
>Suicide Girls is a scam for both the model and photographer
I figured. From their FAQ it seems they at least don't own the photographs unless they buy it, so if they aren't buying sets after a while we could always take them down and put em up someplace else.
As for running everything herself, I'll tell her about it, but I don't know is she's got enough business sense to pull it off
>>3104564
>what is she currently interested in giving a shot
Right now she says she might just sell a few pics or vids of herself masturbating on r/sugardaddy or something similar. She's also already posted some nudes on her pornhub, but I'm pretty sure those were just for fun. I'm hoping to raise her ambitions a little.
Why is 35mm so lovely /p/?

Digital 35mm compact when?
The 28mm of the Ricoh GR is too wide for me. But the Fuji X100 is too big to be compact.
>>3104251
Wrong.
Shoot only film
>>3104251
The problem is that the digital equivalent to that camera is massive.
To get that small for digital you have to compromise IQ.
I want to get started in photography. I've looked around and honestly this camera really grabs my interest. It fits my budget too. What should I expect with this?
>>3102647
I have seen some incredible results from that camera. Generally, it makes a good camera for students learning film photography.
>>3102650
Agreed
You can get a Canon A-1 body for cheaper than an AE-1 on ebay. It has more features and better build quality.
What's the best deal you've gotten on a camera? Just got this at Walmart for $130. I think it was a display model they were trying to get rid of. They tried to sell it for $200 but I negotiated with them on the price. It didn't come with a lens or battery but assuming everything works did I get a good deal?
>>3102540
Uh, take a good look at the mirror and sensor, when Walmart doesn't lock their display models down I give the insides a wet willy -
I don't know why
I know it's wrong.

used to work at target, snagged a d40 with 18-55mm for $80 after crazy clearance and shit employee discount. about 300 hot pixels throughout the frame. got it refunded.
a rolleiflex for $30
a mju1 for $2
a 25 pack of portra 120 160NC for $30
is a foldio2 a good lightbox option for the price?

Hey /p/, I was in Camden market shooting the other day and tried getting a few decent shots of a guy doing leather work on bags. Lighting was a bit shite and I only had a d3200 and kit lens. This is what I came up with with post processing.
Just looking for honest advice and critique of how I can improve next time, or what I can improve in post.

Why the fuck would someone so inexperienced to need ""exposure"" have all the prerequisites like a FF camera, ""capable lenses"", lighting, and all the other shit needed for shooting a wedding? This dude is insane.

Hello, /p/, a foreigner to this board here looking for an android program that would make 1:1 photos.
So far default program and some others I tested gives different preview than actual photo which is huge bs. Do not have an instagram account, though, heard it can shoot 1:1, but the thing is, it would be great if there is a program that gives right preview to other aspect ratios as well.
All ears for your personal experiences and personal solutions.
1:1 means the subject is the same size in real than on the sensor
1:1 on a smartphone sensor would be ridiculous
>>3104989
Sorry, 1:1 as in aspect ratio.
