Hey folks, just wondering here if anyone here gets his work printed. I'm interested in getting some prints of my own work, as well as wondering what to look for when getting your work printed.
It would also be cool to know why people get their work printed.
Also, if you happen to be in the Netherlands and you tend to get your work printed every once in a while, I'd like to know where you get it printed and what your experiences with that place are!

I Usually print 4 or 5 images from each holiday I go on and other stuff I'm pleased with. I print them standard 6x4 size and stick them to my wall.
They're pleasing to look at and remind me of some of the cool stuff I've done.
>>3133498
Do you frame them or just hang them on the wall as is?
>>3133494
I've used Whitewall before, but other than that I have no bench mark for cost. Quality was pretty good, though, and they ship out of Germany.
Since I do more indoor convention shooting than outdoor sports shooting, decided to replace my ageing Canon 7D with the new 6D Mk II.
Good upgrade?

Would've been better off with a used 5D3. Look at the ISO between the 6D's and tell me that's not a serious issue
http://www.canonwatch.com/canon-eos-6d-mark-ii-high-iso-performancr-appears-worse-than-original-eos-6d/
>>3133452
I guess the question would be why? I would personally look at a used 5D mk3, but that's just how I tend to buy things in general, a used higher end model.
From what I have seen though, it is hard to recommend a 6D2 over much of anything.

6D is a better bang for bucks, but yeah, markII is a shame.

he was really good at what he did - so many people tried to copy his style over the years
tragic that he died like he did, unfortunately there's a bit of a morbid tradition in art in only appreciating artists after their death (though he had great recognition in life too)
>>3133440
he invented hipster porn photography. he was so good, rip.

calling something hipster always sounds somehow insulting

If we can get this kind of passion to the field-of-view discussion, we can have 360° support on this board in no time

How the fuck I can clean the sensor of my canon 600d? I tried with some cheap ass swabs (pre-wet), but the shit leaved streaks in the sensor and now al the photos looks like real shit.

Are backlit picture frames a meme, or is the price justified? Is putting a black light tacky? I ask because I have a picture of rocks fluorescing in the dark and it looks dull in the light.
>>3132846
Are you a rich fag? I literally own zero back lit picture frames.
In fact most artwork in galleries have front shining lights.
/p/eople. I'm going on a trip in sept/oct. I need a photo bag so I don't damage my shit. What's a good one for a reasonable price? Has to hold sony a6000 and 4 or 5 prime lenses plus a few accessories like chargers and junk. What are my options? Don't want anything /fa/ or gimmicky, just a practical and affordable bag or pouch.

Alright so this is a studio image of a modelI did late last year, and now just finishing an edit for. I originally used a frequency separation technique and I think I went overboard with blending skin tones. I'm trying to hide it with adding fake grain. Also curious about how you feel about my color. Give me criticism.

Why do I take my best pictures when I'm not trying or even out actively shooting. I always take my best photos when I'm out and about doing something else and just whip out my camera when i see something. Anyone else have this issue?
