Shit tier chart.
Lumps medium format in one pile instead of letting the best battles duke it out.
Everyone knows people who shoot hasselblads are posers, rollei shooters are hipster, memeya posters are poor, pentax users handicapped and fuji posters are braindead.
Meanwhile makina and bronica users stand atop the golden medium format throne dipping their salty balls into the mouths of large format shooters like "sugar".
Digipleb fags can leave desu, they couldn't even catch the highlights of the day on the TV after the 10 o clock news. Can't even find a clip to watch later and have to resort to pretending they know what's going on.

So, I was getting home from photographing an abandoned cement plant when BLM was blocking a street in Seattle. I got out of the car and decided to grab my camera and take some photos.

Do you have any 1000px photos? And where is your exif/what camera/lens combo did you use?
Currently running a cracked version of cs6, inb4 salt. Need to do some touch ups on photo's. However I can't open cr2 files, obviously you would update to get this feature but obviously I cannot update because crack.jpg Any suggestions / 3rd party apps I can use in order to use cr2's on photoshop?

And these lazy people want to do photography. Wish I had problems as easy as yours op.
post your B&W with slight alterations
My x70 has this dreadful function built it.
I suppose it does have a few legitimate uses but 99.9% of the time it's a shitty crutch for shitty photographers. Don't rely on it to make a boring photo interesting.
These two are obviously not examples of "doing it right."

Hello /p/, newfriend here, ive asked this before at the gear threads but no one replies so ill try creating a thread about it.
I want to purchase some monolights and ive decided for the beginners flashpoint 300watts, here comes my real problem, i want to take them outside so i need a power pack but i dont know anything about them (ive been searching but i havent managed to find an answer probably im not searching hard enough).
My current budget is $150, is there something decent i can get for this?
I cannot recommend avoiding those off-brand monolights enough. For $150 you'll have a hard time getting a head and power pack but an old Alienbee and Vagabond might pop up on Ebay. If you can come up with some more to spend but not enough for Bowens etc. the best cheap option if you're in the US will always be Paul C Buff Alienbees
>>2973808
Honestly, OP, you're asking a lot for a strobe *and* a powerpack for that price point. I agree that it's probably not worth it to you.
Here's the biggest problem I see with your price point: Power.
I'm not talking about the power pack, I'm talking about the power you need to shoot outdoors.
Generally speaking, it's a metric fuck ton brighter outside than it is inside. It a lot brighter than you think it is. Unless you're shooting at night, a outdoor strobes need to be powerful. You need *at least* 300W, but more is preferable.
At $150, you're just not going to get that, unless you can find some old beat up used strobe and powerpack being sold together. Generally speaking, using regular AC powered strobes is a ton cheaper and will give you the power you need.
If you really want to shoot outdoors, then just carry an extension chord. Even then, though, you're on the edge for afforability for a powerful enough strobe.
Otherwise, just save up your money and buy in the future.

Anything about lenses, cameras, mounts, systems, buying, pricing, selling, etc. GOES IN HERE!
Don't open new threads for gear-related issues.
No pointless (brand) arguments and dickwaving allowed! You have been warned! Just questions, answers and advice.
I repeat, ANYTHING GEAR RELATED goes in here.
And don't forget, be polite.
First post for Bentax masterrace.
I'm looking to get a hot shoe flash or two for portrait purposes. Any recommendations? I don't really need TTL.

So I think I'm going to start advertising for doing real estate photography in my area. I work for a company now taking photos of vacation rentals and doing matterport. I'd like to get some work on the side but I'm unsure if I should just go the hurr durr firstname lastname photography or something else. Any ideas?

Unless your name is stupid, I think your name is fine. Maybe just <lastname>+photography? And you can keep the same domain name as your business evolves.
And even if it's stupid, it might be stupid in a memorable way.
Two of the biggest commercial photogs in my city just have their last name as their brand name.
Nothing makes me kek like a one man shop with some overblown name like OMNIFOCUS SUPER TECH WORLDWIDE MEDIA UNLIMITED™.
