Factory reset if that doesn't work.

Leica has made a brilliant comeback with nice but expensive rangefinders.
Why won't Cosina and Epson make a second generation of the RD1 with a FF sensor?
people wouldn't be able to buy these fast enough

My A7R broke and now I'm left with the insurance money to get myself a new one. This would be a perfect opportunity to ditch Sony.

Canon cameras can install Magic Lantern for
In camera RAW histogram
Dual-ISO (half the image is 1 iso, other half is another ISO merged into one) improves dynamic range.
You won't lose focus peaking because that's in magic lantern as well
In-camera intervalometer
Advanced bracketing... etc

Canons aren't great but magic lantern gives you far more usability out of them than any other camera manufacturer lets you

Nikon gets better performance out of Sony sensors than Sony and has actual professional bodies that don't disintegrate in your hands.

Other FF cameras from Nikon, Canon, and Pentax actually have weather sealing and somewhat rugged bodies.

GFX is Bayer, but yeah...

Still, X-T20 with a couple of the f2 lenses is tempting me - first time I've felt they've produced a worthy rep for my x100 (just for me, I doubt anyone else would consider that a particularly rational position).

Can you add an artist statement or something about it? Why the crab leg? Why the Space Odyssey obelisk?

Lighting is cool but is telling a story of its own, especially in the second one with the hard vignette. First one is way more visually stimulating for me. Top down shot seems a bit more forced, where as the first image is a great angle for such a still life. In studio or on the beach?

>>

i want to scan some photos and they are fucked because of the light reflections
>>
Changing the brightness of the lamp will affect the image and the reflections equally (just physics), so the end result will be the same.

Can you post a picture of the reflections you're getting? I'd expect blown highlights and/or crushed shadows from a scanner as crappy as that, but not reflections. (Or are you trying to scan film, not prints? That's not going to work at all)
>>
>>3008399

You'll get much better brightness out of your scanner if you plug it into 220 volts.

1. What do you think of the Ricoh GR?
I like the ergonomics but am constantly annoyed with autofocus problems.
2. is there a tool in photoshop that reverses the warping effects of wide angle lenses?

Get a color target. Also unless you're using high end lights expect them to wander a little bit in their output. Take a photo of the card for every damn picture and check it. Like, I've shot a lot of art and color shift drove me bonkers until I found out alien bees can shift through out the shoot.
