I'm a photography degree student and am in need of a new camera. Is it worth paying the extra 100+ £££ for the 760D?

OP clearly said he wanted a new camera, why would he go back to the shitty 5dc
I'm thinking of getting a flickr account and posting there. What are peoples thoughts on the site?

I wish someone would produce an affordable adapter with backlight to scan film with dslr. Something simple yet useful.
>>3009928
If I was proficient in CAD I would totally hop on that.
>>3009928
Yeah, I could really use some help scanning my 8x10 negs. Maybe something like a rod with a frame and backlight.
these are a few photos from a recent trip i took up california. some people have asked me why i take 'edgy' photos that don't have people or '''nice backgrounds'''...some feedback would be nice.
thanks.

First for SEL70200GM being one of the greatest zoom lens made to date.
What do you think of the Canon EOS 1300D ?
>>3009414
Not good & not really good value. Same as anything Canon below a 80D.

Found a Canon EF Zoom Lens - 28-135mm - F/3.5-5.6 going for £80. Is it worth the cop?
I'm mainly looking for a lens that will give me better film quality, but I'm also pretty broke. my 50mm looks pretty good on my c100 but the focusing can be a bit of a pain with film.
I also have a Tamron 17-50, and a 55-250.
>>3006873
if its only 80 I dont see why not
if you get that you wont have to keep switching between your two tamron lenses everytime you need to go wider or longer

I posted in the last thread, and I followed a few people who followed me. However, I was unsure of who came from /p/. So if you follow(ed) me, send me a DM and I'll be sure to follow you back.

Hey /p/ so i'm a very amateur filmmaker and i've always used borrowed cameras, mostly Canon (EOSD 1D C, 5D Mark iii). Those are all from my job.
I want to get a camera but right now i don't have that much money (i'm saving up for a car) so i got my job's boss to get it for me with the company's credit card (although they only have credit with a very specific establishment which doesn't have many models, it jumps from Rebel t5i to 6D ).
Should i get the Rebel T5i? i know it's not the best option but within my limitations it's the only one i can get atm, (tfw no one accepted to use their credit card for me on ebay, amazon or mercadolibre).
What do you think?
It's not bad, but I'd much rather get the 6D if you're going to be in low light situations a lot. I mean, I'd prefer the 6D in general but if money is an object and you're more concerned about having a camera in your hand, the t5i is fine. Honestly, the tXi series is fine for a lot of people.

In a couple of weeks, I'm thinking of getting me a Lumix G7. What should I know before dropping money on this thing. Also, can I change shutter speeds when recording video? Thx
First: GEAR THREAD mf
Yes you can change shutter speeds during video. Dunno why you'd want to though. Unless you want your project to look jittery, you wanna shoot at double your framerate. If you're having trouble shooting 24/25 fps in daylight, use an ND filter. Don't expose using shutter speed.
>>3011732
Well I ask because I want to set the shutter speed double the frame rate to avoid the jittery look.
>>3011712
never understood the point of that camera series
>almost as fat as a DSLR
>no image stabilization
>gimped video compared to GH
>no weather sealing like on OMD
