Oh fuck I didn't notice the file size of my photos. Some people won't open large files so keep them small
Hey guys, I'm visiting Hong Kong for a few days soon and was hoping you could suggest some cool locations for street photography.
I'm also thinking of hoping over to Shenzhen for a day trip if I have the time so if anybody knows of some locations there please let me know!
Thank you!
Wan Chai is very underrated for street photography
DRTV used to do a lot of their filming in Wan Chai but I never figured out why
>>3015975
How could you possibly make those two comments in one post and believe they are consistent?
>>3015975
Oh thats great! I'm staying in Wan Chai.

Hey fellars,
I got this first as an action cam and wanted to shoot cinematic shots with it for small topic-videos
But then I decided I'm gonna use it for vlogging for my youtube channel. I hate that its fixed-focuses so what are the best settings I can use on it for vlogging at my youtube studio space?
Thanks

Hey 4chan, Valentine's Day is coming up, and I want to do something special for my amazing supportive boyfriend, Klinti. He means THE WORLD to me and I want to show him how far love can spread! I am trying to get someone from every state (and as many countries as possible!), to write on a piece of paper WHERE you are from, with a message- something like:
"Klinti, this is how far Maria's love for you has reached". Then, take a picture of the paper and post it below! I will put all the photos together and give them to him in a book, or make a collage.
You can follow my template, don't be afraid to get creative, or keep it simple! I want to show him and the world the POWER OF LOVE, & how important he is to the world and how far a little LOVE CAN GO <3. Please support and spread the love! <3 <3 Happy Valentines Day, no matter your status :)

All I see is Yongnuo copying some cheap lenses, the market is already saturated with those slow lenses.
They could be copying some of the older legendary lenses.
What if Yongnuo got the nikkor 50mm f1.2 ai, with 9 blades apperture. Put a chip + AF screw.
Or the Nikon 58mm f/1.2 noct ai. Put a chip + AF screw.
Would you buy this sort of lenses? Even Nikon wouldn't have anything to compete.
>>3017098
- most people who are after old legendary lenses won't be satisfied with a Chinese copy
- those lenses often employed technologies that Yongnuo cannot replicate; in particular, the Noct-Nikkor was so expensive because it had a hand-made aspherical element
- you don't just "put in AF screw", this requires a complete redesign of the internal mechanics, which requires skilled engineering that Yongnuo obviously does not possess
- there are already many companies in the "fast manual lenses for cheap" market (Cosina, Samyang, ZY, even Zenit)

I really doubt Nikon from 40 years ago had more precision and technology than Yongnuo now.

Not true!
There is a single lens coming out in 2017.
It is a 50mm f/2 for $400.
>>3016155
What is the point in continuously making lenses when each one they've made caters to literally everything?
>>3016156
Improving on the older designs? Or just switching to a better coating technology like Pentax did with the SMC DA and HD DA lenses.
How do you plan for your photo trips, be it for a day trip or for a week?
Also, have you ever travelled alone to do photography? Less expenses, more freedom.
have you seriously done a multiday "photo trip"? that's extravagant as fuck, anon. I can barely find time to go shooting for a few hours in the evenings most days, much less take time off & get money together to travel around to shoot for days on end.
what sort of photos are you taking on these trips? just, like, travel photography?
I go on holidays where i spend 50% of the day taking photos. But i still call it a holiday, rather than a photography trip.
Planning? I don't plan. Just find somewhere interesting by searching google images, book a flight and leave. If i'm in somewhere like London or Tokyo I'll book a hotel, places like India I'll just wing it.

I'm more interested in landscape, especially at night, but had better luck with random snapshits. Probably because landscape requires so much dedication and I'm usually doing a day trip with friends or a vacation with family. I'd love to shoot the desert in the US or the skies and mountains in Nordic countries.
Now that I'm earning money, I could make one of these a reality real soon.

What do you think about this lens?
It's a lens.
Focus throw is really short, doesn't work on my EF film body.
>>3018499
I actually already ordered it but was interested if some of you have experience with it. The feedback on the lens itself was alright
>>3018501
What body?
Hello /p/ Newfriend here, sorry about this thread but I don't seem to get a solid answer on the Internet and maybe you guys can help.
I'm taking photos like pic related (just for reference). But the far ends of the shoe are always a bit out of focus, I'm currently shooting with a 50mm 1.8 but I've seen some people suggesting the use of a 100mm macro lens, will it work and get rid of the out of focus problem?
Thanks in advance /p/ (sorry about my English not my mother language)
>>3018257
All you need to do is close up your aperture to increase your depth of field. The nifty-fifty will work fine for this. Just don't shoot wide open if you want to get everything in focus.
>>3018261
Anon I'm already shooting at F22 am I fucking up? is it distortion?
>>3018266
Then you're fucking up focus. At f/22, you should be able to get those shoes, everything in the room, and the entire building in focus. You just need to learn to focus.
Any critique is appreciated
