Przy moim biurku to porządek.
so im looking at developing my own film and was wondering if anyone has any experience with one of these for scanning negatives? only £80 off ebay, too good to be true? any other reccomendations?
>>3035450
Probably shit/decent,
but just get a Canon CanoScan 9000F or something. It's twice the price, but why not invest in something proper that will also last you a long time.
>>3035456
>Probably shit/decent,
most probably a turbo piece of shit.
OP, just learn to dslr cuck scan or either get a v500/v600. any other option is too expensive or def whack.
>>3035450
Don't pay more than 40 bucks for one of these.
Just buy a macro lens it's faster and easier once you set up a copy stand
What do you guys have against Olympus?

Now that they've confirmed they're moving over to FE mount, nothing.

Ask them if they want it to look like an accident.
Pack my fanny pack full of spaghetti and spill it all once on location.
You have a Leica. It's immaculate. It has the original box, maybe two dings total and it has only been serviced by official Leica technicians in cleanrooms with a completely documented service history. You bought a Noctilux for it. One of your favorite things is to take pictures of it.
Here's a picture you took with it.
I have an AE-1. It was my uncle's or something. I usually just keep it in my car under the passenger seat where it rolls around a lot. The meter is off by a few stops but I just adjust for it and it works well enough. I bought a 50mm 1.4 for it that I found at a fleamarket for $10. It rattles a little and when focusing it, it feels rough like there's sand in the grooves. One of my favorite things is to shoot cheap expired film in it.

D3300 any good as a first cam? I got some experience with my father's D7000 and D7200 so I know at least how to use it
Closest to newbie here, I usually roam around taking architecture and urban shots, but recently had the urge to practice bokeh and low key photography.
I'm really poor, so I don't have much to spend on implements.
Any budget beauty dish or background alternatives? Thanks in advance

Why don't you just use his d7000 and buy some good glass?
I'm noob and want photoshop. Which one is better for basic stuff. Shop faces, merge pictures, panorama, etc.

photoshop if you know what you're doing otherwise gimp/paint.net does everything a noob needs in order to learn
What's the best screw mount leica camera?
I shoot mainly portraits and already have screw mount 50mm and 90mm lenses.
>>3034913
They're all the same, pretty much.
For portraits you'd be better off with a reflex camera. Next time, use the gear thread.
>>3034913
Obviously the best for a shooter is the IIIg
To a collector it would probably be a black paint Ia or something, who cares.
I shoot and love my IIIf (pictured)
I also have a IIc sharkskin which is worth more because of the vulcanite texture despite having a dried out shutter that leaks light

vaporwave vibes
>>3034560
this photo wouldve been pretty great
IF: the photo quality was good, like: super sharp, no noise, shot on a good medium format film, or post processed by someone who knows what the fuck they're doing, i wouldve maybe taken a step back so some other elements of the enviroment was hinted at, but not fully revealed... maybe a scalp and a hand, something like that..
Okay so I found a yashicaflex at a used shop for 10 dollars. How available is film for this thing?
Cop or not, pic related.
Extremely available.
Odds are something is fucked with the camera tho
>>3034535
How hard would that be to get repaired?
>>3034538
It would be extremely painful.
How do you guys feel about automatic settings?
I just recently got my first DSLR and have been pretty much going full manual. As you might expect, most of what I take is utter shit. Under-exposed, over-exposed, and a whole lot left out of focus.
So for the more professional anons out there, what's your relationship with automatic modes? Do you ever use them? If so, how often, and for what purpose?
Sounds like you fell for the manual meme.
>manual exposure
It has its uses, and shooting on the fly in changing light conditions isn't it. If you want to use manual exposure to experiment with the way shutter and aperture affects things, turn on auto ISO. That, or git gud.
>manual focus
Now you just went full retard. DSLRs aren't designed for quick, easy, and accurate manual focus. Use the autofocus, it's there for a reason.

>>3034503
I don't really get the point in people shooting full manual apart from in certain circumstances. Priority modes are the way to go IMO. And even then there's no shame in shooting auto.
Yesterday got to see an expo from the John Kobal foundation, did see some old photos from Hollywood stars in there, come home and take a look on some of them on the web, what /p/ think about this old portraits, the illumination and poses used?

This one in kinda funny, they made - at last, it look to me, maybe someone here will say that it was all correct - such a mess in this one, they used a lot of her image of an Asian stereotype, and put her on this visual. It looks it come from Piccadilly that was before the Hayes Laws the DVD of this movie has a paint of her semi-nude on it's cover. The background looks kinda cartoonish but the lumination works well, but really can give an opinion about the pose.
