How the fuck did they get this swooping shot in the Humble music video?

stop posting niggers.
Computer controlled robotic arm with a camera on the end. They're becoming increasingly common, especially since they can infinitely reproduce tricky shots just like the one in this music video.
Check out what it's like when you combine it with slow motion.

we're not. the photos on this board document the worldview of basement-dwelling underachievers, weeaboos, and countless other social perverts. their visual language is crystal clear and utterly modern, together they could form the basis for a decent doctoral thesis in sociology. your photos are just retro kitsch, 70 years ago they might have been seen as visually intriguing.

Question of the thread: How many short films do you make before you're ready to make a feature?
>>3040214
You didn't do costume design, casting, direction or choreography. So no one's gonna call you a perv.
As long as the cleavage isn't in your face (ie shots where cleavage is the only thing in frame) then you should be fine
I would most definitely not add an undershirt in post, it will look bad. You should probably have a frank talk with your director and then actors though about your concerns thought
Also,
Canon develops global-shutter technology for use with its DSLRs... eventually
http://www.redsharknews.com/production/item/4427-global-shutter-is-coming-to-canon-dslrs-eventually
Some will care more than others, but since the only way to get a decent global shutter in a digital is to use an expensive cinema camera atm, this seems like a pretty big deal
>>3040385
There's literally nothing in this that indicates that they're planning on putting this in their DSLRs. DSLRs are for photos, which barely benefit from GS.

Hey /p/,
How can I fix multiple white balance exposures in one image in Lightroom?
I need to sample this image twice in two different locations but it'll only let me do it once. I can't get a decent wb from playing with sliders in masking mode.
Any advice?

There is nothing to fix in the first image, no human chromatic adaptation can fix that tint. Camera captured roughly the same thing which you see.
What do you make of this /p/?

Does this mean the K-1 will be cheaper, or soar in prices?
It seems like the APS-C GR cameras are a lot more popular than the older models ever were, why kill them now? I figured they were checked out when they followed up the GR with such a lazy follow-up GR II, but I love my GR and I would be pretty sad if they killed that line of cameras.
Pentax has been circling the drain for forever though, it's probably time to just kill it off. Still, it's not good to see the camera market shrink and losing any competitor is sad.
Damn i was really hoping for a full frame GR down the line.
Do any of you use Lightroom Mobile? The only computer I have access to at the moment is a ThinkPad X230 that has a horrible screen with shit colors and the colors on my Android tablet are way better. Lightroom Mobile supports RAW now so is it good enough for hobbyist use?

I often use it to fill in time. I'll edit photos during boring classes or commutes. The cloud service helps too.

a lot of tablets are too slow for editing huge photos, plus the gamma is completely fucked on ipads at least. lossless image editing with any pretension of professional capabiliy seems like a novelty at best on such a platform
>>3055423
My laptop also has a shitty screen but I just hooked up a desktop screen and edit on that.
I need a budget camera to video tape sexual intercourse . It has to be able to film in a low light ambient
I.e.: closed room with ceiling light
And a better quality than an iPhone 6S . I can buy from eBay and my budget is 100 US
Iphone 6s will massively out perform anything you can get for $100.
>>3055310
Please elaborate more. Shouldn't a 100 US instrument that can only take pics and video tape be better than a 400 US phone ? How much would it cost me to buy a camera that can outperform an iPhone 6S in low light ambients
>>3055314
>what is economies of scale.
A last generation crop would just about outdo an iphone, something like a Sony nex 5 will set you back about $150 before getting a lens too. Bare in mind that unless you want to hear the whirring of the focus on the camera you will need an external mic too, and if it's not on a tripod a gimbal is pretty much compulsory.
You might get change from a grand?
Hey /p/! I've been really getting into photography recently and would like to start taking my own pictures. Can somebody recommend me a camera that's in the ~$300 range? I'm thinking of doing portraits/ nature pictures. Thanks in advance

Who's been taking them for you up until this point?
Needing some advice with a new camera. I just got rid of my D3300 and have still got my 550D but i need a new camera. And at this point i don't know if i want to get a Sony mirrorless or go and get another canon. My real choices here are an A5000-A6000 or a 700D or 60D (or below). I don't know if this should be in the gear thread or not since I'm not discussing it really. I do not want to go back to Nikon by the way. I already have some canon lenses that do me but wouldn't mind a mirrorless where i can buy vintage lenses and not bother about flange distance. But then again I'm accustomed to DSLRs. Anyone switch to mirrorless? What is it like?

I've just done something today - for the tenth time since 2015 - that /p/ never has. That is, I spent the day selling my photographs to people. I'm a fine art print photographer and I sell droves of landscape pictures; today alone I sold over ten prints for one hundred dollars each.
You shitbirds jerk each other off over which camera brand is best and I'm here to educate you that you don't need to do that shit and stop with it when it comes down to it the brand of photographer is >>>> the brand of camera.
Fujifags get all bent out of shape about how AMAYZZING acros is but i'm showing you with my FULLframe Sony and RAW Therapee I can produce a result much more pleasing to the eye than you can with your Fujinontalent.
Obv. these aren't the creations I sold today they're to prove a point that even in a shitty motel room you can still make aamzing pictures.
