I want to take photos like pic related, spanning the range from classy, shoulders up portraits, to explicit nudes. I want to do it all. I need help learning how to pose my model's body and especially her face.
One of the best ways to learn is to look at great photos and try to emulate their style. Once I can do that, then I can branch off and find my own original style. But for starters, I need a collection of photographers who do good work, and a collection of good shots to try to copy.
So, please post away.

I want more people to see my pictures that I post on Instagram but I feel like a pretentious cunt if I use hashtags and I'd feel even more pretentious if I make a separate photography Insta, especially since I'm still pretty shit at photography, so I just post the pictures on my personal Instagram.
What hashtags do you people use for people to see your photos? Are there any hashtags you can use so people can give you constructive criticism or anything like that? Do I just have autism?

That's the thing, I don't really want to come across like I'm some sort of super duper pro photographer if I'm shit but I assume that's a pretty silly thing to worry about.
I think I'll just make a separate account for photography and go nuts with hashtags and engaging people and stuff and don't care if I look like a tool, and just tag that account when I post pictures on my normal account so that people I actually know IRL who want to see more of that stuff can follow me there.

The 5D is not a TREND statement. It is a tool for professionals and for serious hobbyists. It's expensive price tag is not the same attitude as Macbook or iPhones being so expensive. Both the 5D and the Nikon equivalent are fantastic tools.

Even if you shoot every day, that's still just 365 sub-folders per year folder which isn't too much.
Splitting it into months makes it a nightmare to find stuff again because you never remember months only years.

Yeah I've always had so-so experiences with drugstore and other 1 hour photo places since the people who work at the photo counter are high school students who are dead inside and don't actually know what to do other than pushing some buttons. At least with a dedicated camera store, the high school students aren't dead inside and they know what they're doing.
