take your gear to an outfitter and find out
nobody can tell you the answer without knowing exactly what you're bringing, and at that point you might as well as someone who's being paid to give you advice

Easily. I have done week long trips with my 30L pack with my sleeping bag and tarp shelter inside my pack

If your tent and more importantly your sleeping bag is on the OUTSIDE of your bag then its obviously not large enough.
