It's that time of year again
Post you tips and show off your harvest
Also how can I get them to grow in a new area? My parents has some land that would be great for it
southern Oregon
I live in michigan, metro detroit. I bought some wood from a guy in northern michigan and had some growing on it

are those marijuana's?
if you're a manlet would it be a good idea to buy the women's version of a backpack because of your smaller frame?
a-asking for a friend
Buy whatever's comfy and works for you. There's no quality difference between mens and women's equipment. As long as its not pink you shouldnt have any issues with image.
>>990534
I own a woman's backpack.
5'7" manlet. Men's bags are perfectly fine. They usually are larger too so you can stuff more shit in them.
Hello, /out/
I have decided to start working towards buying remote ass land in Montana and possibly building a cabin or just buying a place with one already built.
Sure times, prices, and places change and I won't achieve this goal until maybe 4-6 years from now. But let's say I was buying land today with at least 20-40k in my savings.
>What location would you recommend
>How can I buy land there
>What other things can you recommend or give tips on
Also I am from Oregon, no not Portland.

>tip
You're not wanted, we're full
>>989603
>How can I buy land there
Money can be exchanged for goods and services
I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And drive from state to state. Do they let you do that?
>I want to grow something, and sell it locally
>I decide on chicken
>I read in the local grocery flyer that 1kg of blackberries sells more than 1kg of whole chicken
So should I just grow blackberries then? Or is my entire logic retarded?
>>987749
capital investment will be way higher on blackberries, and they might not even produce in the first year.
look into duck eggs. ducks are easier to take care of than chickens, easier to get set up, and sell for significantly higher prices and draw more attention
don't blackbreeze grow practically like weeds? you get a small patch going and pretty soon your entire yard is a festering thicket of prickers, thorns, and brambles with deeper roots than the Rockerfellers. you just have to cover that shit with bird netting and you should be good to go.
fuck keeping animals, little high maintenance shits.

For the price of a home and property you could get 2 RVs and 1 boat.
Use one RV in the America's to travel. Use the boat to travel between the America's and Europe. Use the other RV to travel Europe and Asia.
And use all three in combination, leaving one behind, to travel the globe.
What will you do for money? Hmm. Fish n Chips? Cross country taxi? Tourism?
>>987460
You do know that as soon as you buy that house and RV, you lose like $50k worth of depreciation within a day. If you buy a house and take care of it in the right area, it will always be worth money and probably go up in value.
I mean your plan sounds fun, but let's be realistic about buying an RV instead of a house.
>>987460
RVs are cancer of the road
Keep them out of the mountains
>>987460
Any boat that is sea worthy enough to cross the Atlantic is going to cost as much as a house itself.
You also need to pay to store the boats and RVs somewhere.
You'd also need the skill to perform a cross Atlantic trip in a boat.
It's a pipe dream at best.
Get an RV and travel the USA. Take a flight when you want to cross the Atlantic, and rent a car in Europe. You'll be a lot better off.
I'm going to be living off grid, in a Travel Trailer, for about 6 months.
The thing that is really going to kill me is showers. I love 'em. I feel grimy waking up, and hate being dirty.
I measured it out, and the shortest shower I can take would fill a 2 gallon bucket.
What are some tips on quick showers? Is there a special soap that cleans well but takes no time at all to rinse off? Like would hand sanitizer clean better and be quicker to rinse off?
Half of my water usage is just rinsing out the soap.
note: i'm poor as fuck and pic is unrelated.
Use baby wipes to clean your body, then go into the shower to wash your hair.
>>987177
BAYWARD pls go
>>987177
In the service we had to take sea showers. You quickly wet yourself, turn the water off, lather on soap and shampoo, then turn the water back on, rinse quickly, and done.
Use lava soap bars, available at any Walmart for a few cents, they are gritty and will easily scrub away grime.
canadafag here, how would i go about becoming a hermit?

This.
so in my country old busses are incredibly cheap. im thinking of buying one and using it as a home. the fuel consumption is incredible so id use it in a "moveable if necassary" fashion. thoughts ?
>>986622
Perhaps looking into alternative fuels? What is cheaper than petrol? Natural gas/methane or propane maybe?
>>986622
I've thought about this but never figured out where I would keep it
>>986651
Propane powered bus would be real cheap and would make Hank Hill proud!
I'm going into conscription this summer and need some supplies bc the standard issue ones are pretty shit. Can you give me any advice?
>Patrol bag - Mil Tec assault pack 36l (37€)
>Knoife - Ontario RAT 1 (13€)
>Ear protection - surefire EP7 (30€)
Any other good options? What are some good fixed blades under 50€? Also advice on a better patrol bag?
Which country are you from? I need to know so that I can tell you if your Mil Tec pack is better or worse than whatever you'll be given for free.
>>985390
Estonia. Standard issue is a God damn duffel bag. Cant get much worse than that. We do have another giant 100 l packback but I need something smaller and more compact for patrolls and recon missions
>>985413
Pic related is the camping backpack. Obviously too large for anything else
Thinking about taking a job in salt lake city.
only going to get one day off a week.
Any cool camping within shooting distance?
I live in Salt Lake City. What is "shooting distance?"
There's lots of camping in the Wasatch and Uintas.
Where do you go camping in the winter and spring?
I'm going to visit Kaibab National Forest in Arizona this summer along with Grand Canyon and maybe Monument Valley. Can anyone recommend any good hikes/other interesting places to visit in those areas? I've never been.

Camping in Germany sound exciting and good bargain.
>What started as a camping evening ended in horror: An unknown person threatened a couple with a knife in Bonn and subsequently raped the 23-year-old woman. The friend of the victim had to stand idly by the crime

>Police are now searching for a man they describe as aged between 20 and 30, 180 cm tall and dark skinned.
>At the time of the incident he was wearing light jeans and a summer jacket. He spoke to the couple in broken English.
Oh and he was a rapefugee, wonderful. Germany, what the hell happened to you?
>>983755
Got raped, clearly.
Damn last night was terrifying, I'm so glad that /out/ it's back to normal.

apart from /ourguy/ ted, what are some other based /out/ heroes?
Lenny Pepperbottom
>>981004
Ted is probably more /pol/ than out. But the older i get the more agree with his manifesto. Not the bombing people part, but the technology stealing our humanity part.
Sorry i know im a noob but who is ted
