Does anyone make shittier cars than Hyundai /o/?
My lame 4 cylinder 08 Sonata has been reliably getting me from A to B for the past 5 years with just regular maintenance , about to hit 100k miles soon
Crossing my fingers because I've been lucky
Oh wait, I don't believe in superstitious bullshit....never mind
My parents sonata was so beaten and poorly maintained( or call it never been maintained) but it still runs
Korean cars are never associated with fun or whatever but they are necessary to be there to provide cheap econo shitbox that takes people from A to B no more than that
I would totally buy used cheap Korean car to drive in shitty weathers and use for shitty road and commute driving
No. No they don't. I got stuck with a Hyundai rental that had like no miles on it. It was whatever their Camry/Accord/whatever competitor is. Most awful thing I've ever driven in my entire life.
Current one is more handsome than the Camry or Accord, and comes with the same features for less money than both.
To be fair, I realize that Hyundai does not sell itself on the driving experience of the cars. I'm sure that as a DD for someone who doesn't care about the experience beyond whatever electronic gizmos the car has, it would be perfectly fine. Good warranties too, I guess.
My Sonata 08 now has 130k miles on it and literally the only money I've spent on it has been fluid changes and gas.
Sure, it drives like a boat but so far I'm in love with Hyundai. They offer the best quality-price ratio by far.
I have some family with Hyundais and Kias. They've gotten much better over the years, but so has everyone else. New Hyundais are built better than 2010 Fords, but the new Fords are still better.
People who hate Hyundai are the same people who can't understand why people drive Corollas.
I personally see Hyundai as the car for people who absolutely hate driving. They usually know their cars the least, but Hyundai is a good manufacturer that will make sure their appliance just soldiers on.
That said, Hyundai isn't so bad. It's not the driving experience that makes someone buy them, it's the affordability of owning and (not) maintaining a vehicle.
>had an 02 elantra in the senpai for 10 years
>radiators, cv axles, belts, spark plugs, tires are all it needed to keep putting along
>sold it Saturday for $1k with a CEL for a transmission speed sensor, cracked windshield, one blown shock absorber, and a missing antenna
>kinda miss it
Designed in Germany, made in Turkey.
My parrents ordered i20 in april(?) 2015. Do you want to know, when dealer called "your car is ready for you"? Fucking TODAY!
Im bet you can get Porsche sooner.
>Own EF Sonata
>been fine for over 10 years, only thing that has even gone out is the crank position sensor, other than that just needed preventative maintenance
>/o/ will shit on it because it's not a boyracer
Are we talking performance? cuz it sure ain't reliability
Yeah because "Hyundai is shit because some 15 year olds on the internet told me so" is more concrete.
Maybe you could do actual research instead of putting fingers in your ears and yelling when somebody calls your shit car shit. Hyundai at its best is worse than equivalent Japanese cars at and worse horribly unreliable shit heaps.
Go yell HATERZ some more like Honda faggots do.
>getting this anal-rumped over Hyundais
Your bus is waiting.
The Genesis Coupe looks okay. I kind of want a Veloster, but I'd like it more if it didn't have that retarded assymetrical third door and no rear window.
ive driven a tucson and a new accent and they both drive like shit, its like driving a swimming pool. Shocks are shit, they're like soft or something a gay like you would like. Velociturd sounds like shit too
lol. i wouldn't brag about that kind of mileage, considering you're probably one of the retards who tries to sell/trade it after 4 years with 150k miles and is upside-down $13k [provided it's a new car and not a $300 craigslist shitbox like most people here]
I bought this thing new for $14k in seattle and I get 39mpg avg.
6 months in and 7000 miles on it I can resell it for $16k.
If you're talking "shitty" for performance or fun, you might be right, though the genesis is still a good deal on performance.
For the best commuterbox I could buy to save money (fun comes from my project car), I'd say they aren't bad
wrong. i work at a hyundai dealership. so many of you niggers bought those elantras for ~$14k new, so they're worth about $9500 used. market is absolutely flooded with low mile trade-ins
sorry to burst your bubble
>though the genesis is still a good deal on performance.
