Get a Fiesta ST. Its a way way better car. the Cruze RS is more of a "warm" hatch compared to it. I'd get the Kia Forte5 Turbo over a Cruze.

That 65k includes me learning stick on the car,6 1000+ mile road trips,one of which was only after the car had barely turned over 1500miles

Tuned they seem to stay reliable,I don't have a ton of experience there

My mom had a base model one. Its not fast but feels sporty. I dont think you get anything special with the RS. Save some of your monopoly money and just get a non-RS version.

Also, with the Sonic, you will only lose less than an inch of headroom and legroom compared to the Cruze. The cars are very similar in terms of space although the cruze is a lot narrower and has a smaller trunk. The exterior of the Sonic is ok but the interior, that fucking dash cluster, is total shit. It also has the same engine and transmission as the Cruze.

RS is only an appearance package. There's literally nothing "sporty" about it. It's a 1.4l engine with a turbo attached to it that's made out of paper mache.
