Who /onlymanual/ here?
>tfw every car you've owned is a manual
>tfw better control in snow
>tfw you shift into 4th
>Get licence like few days ago.
>Drive old Fiat Punto 44kw 1.2
>Can't get out of the fucking snow without going nuts.
>Clutch gets stuck under the goddamn floormat.
>5th gear isn't at the top right corner, it's between the 3rd and the top right corner, have to search for it.
I guess I need to find a better car or something.
>I bet none of you even know how to downshift properly or smoothly.
Also we get that you like benchracing your automatic Civic, take it somewhere else.
Because the automatic hugbox thread isn't shitposting at all
Autotragic driver here.
I think manuals are cool too, will probably get one as my next car. I just don't get the whole superiority complex manual drivers have. It seems fun but it doesn't make you a race driver
Ohhh someone is hurt. Someone has feelings hurt over his old archaic technology.
Manuals are slower and less consistent than dual clutch. Plus they pull harder and are more fun. Especially in rwd.
Manuals are so much work and to be honest aren't fun at all. If you think so you need to find new hobbies because manual is defining who you are as a person and that's pathetic. Start treating it like the old tech it is and move on.
>tfw both cars manual
>tfw nail the rev limiter in shitbox subaru sliding around corners and nothing forcing it to shift
>tfw blow off valve when I let off the gas to shift
All my cars are manual but in saying that the first car I bought was a rb25det s2 r33 auto with a lock diff heaps of fun but if it were manual it woulda been better lol, kiwi here btw
>Only comes in auto
>MFW I pass you in the rain with my heated seats turned on
Started off on an automatic Camry and Nissan Murano, parents let me pick a car under $40k. Ended up choosing a 2005 Corolla LE Manual for $2k, and cashing the money to invest and put in savings.
Because it's a grocery getter so who gives a shit what color it is and I don't look at anything that's white and immediately have to repress thoughts about jizz.
I never got the manual circlejerk. I daily a manual, and while it's fun at times, I get lazy sometimes and wish I had an automatic to just cruise. Ideal set up would be a comfy, fuel efficient automatic for commuting, and a manual car for hektik skidz
The car that hit mine it's CV joint broke and the driver came at my car at a decent speed. The whole front was fucked. I didn't insure my car so I had to pay for the whole front rebuild. Which took time some time for me to buy all the parts necessary. It was partly my fault for not insuring my car on time.
>Not having a sequential from the factory
How does it feel not being able to do full throttle shifts with no clutch, faggots?
Dayme that would suck, what's insurance cost for you?, my 98wrx sti costs 580 per year for full cover, me bro just bought a r32 gtst coupe he pays 1300 per year for full cover coz he's just come off licence suspension but insurance is relatively cheap in nz
>mfw i ride a bike to store with only sunglasses
>Owns a truck
>Owns a track bike
Literally best combo over, stay mad, poor fag.
Everyone is a poorfag here. Only on websites that are username based can you be a personality.
Should I muffler delete for my car? the stock sound is kinda meh, and I don't have $1k to dump into a good exhaust
3-4 best shift btw
>not riding to the corner store in shorts, a t-shirt, helmet and wearing thongs
>Only had one car since I was 16
>it's an automatic toyota camry
>have had it for 6 years now
Just kill me now familia. At least I graduate soon and can get out of this late 90's family crapbox once I start earning some actual money
I've been meaning to talk about this on here
>Glorious Torque Conveter
>Multiplies torque by 2x when accelerating from stop
>My barge accelerates harder at 2k rpm than a miata at 6k
>full lock up on high way
> Perfect launches and shifts every time
Auto's with torque converters make decent straight line cars
