Maybe it's time for the rear seats to go.
No, he definitely wasn't, he started saying that after being ridiculed for a while. Nobody races a bone stock 2014 Dodge Dart with 0 modifications other than taking the interior out
1345kg/2965lb by its own, pretty fat considering its a "compact"
I take da seat out but den gasp i pot the metal in and then oh no some black stuff now is heavier
-210 for my fat ass, 50lbs of junk in the trunk, and a quarter tank
3840 lbs of bone crushing pigfat, And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Was it a Dart? I remember what you're talking about, I wasn't aware it was a dart though. Dude bought a brand new fucking car and the very first thing he did was extreme weight mods by gutting the interior, carpet and all. What the fuck kind of person does that shit?
>buy new car
>immediately throw away ~3k worth of materials
I got caught in a random light dusting of snow with my PSS on my G and I literally had no choice but to get the car towed home. I could not move it on a flat surface, as soon as the clutch bit, the wheels spun. I can't imagine what it's like with the torque of the stang.
>mfw i used to daily my XJ
>mfw it doesnt even have airbags or abs
So glad its off the road at the moment so i can actually fix it because fuck that.
Adding a rollcage to the list of mods!
uhh nah the xj is a literal deathbox and loves to roll over
here is my daily for comparison right?
notice how even though the car is like 200kg heavier it doesnt fucking kill you?
stock is 2,850
I deleted a ton of shit, ac, cruise, egr, evap, cat, exhaust, abs, spare, jack, and cut off useless brackets
I have 50lb bucket full of bolts alone
at least 300lb lighter for sure
Plan on it the second it's not winter so I can get summer tires for the new wheels. Also wanted to see how black looked on the car, probably going gunmetal gray. >>14292750
It's actually like 30 and I brought it up more as a joke for how fat this car is.
Looks like someone else helped you out there.
Add another 750 pounds for my family, and another 200 pounds in luggage, and a solid brass naval compass binnacle that weighs another 100 pounds.
Probably a little over 2000lbs. Heavy winds makes it shake quite a bit.
I dunno, but probably too heavy for the engine power.
> Remove the seats
I'd rather keep them, because I have more than one friend. Also, that's where I keep the ice scrapers.
I'm not super fussy about acceleration, though, because I'm not American. Car handles fine still. And it even handled mostly fine last summer with half a ton of booze and camping gear in the back.
They arent bolted to the frame of the vehicle
They can come loose during a crash and start bouncing around the cabin.
The frame of the car is going to fold and during a severe crash and push that roll cage into you. Thats opposed to a roll cage preventing any 'folding' like its supposed to do
Those weights are so fucked up. I think it shows the gross max loaded weight or something.
I was googling weights of Challengers with different engines, and it said the Hellcat was 5700lbs or something stupid.
wrecked a 96 (not at fault ;-) ) and it wasn't too bad, hit a truck in the bed and spun him out
Pretty much average for cars in its class.
I don't know if I could handle the amount of badges an actual roush has.
Dayum and I'm only making 180hp
If only I had a shorter rear end and a actual hardtop
The "official" curb weight is 2293 lbs.
i wish i new you on a personal level
if thats your hand kek
i got my na z32 down to sub 3000 lbs according to the smog place with my ass in there too.
where could i take it to weigh it when i get it running again?
Might also be able to run it over a highway truck scale outside of town depending on how it's set up. I'm pretty lucky to have one at work if you can call being a miner lucky.
My truck is like 3040lbs, sucks it's so much lighter than my car.
