ITT Auto truths that are hard to swallow
>people only bash """ricers""" because they are the largest auto enthusiast group
holy shit i thought i was the only one
ive driven a few civics and they're very very good, they rank very highly for me up there with miata
but both civic and miata seem too common i want to be special
its hard life
I think they get bashed for putting fucking wings on fwd cars, all that's gonna do is make your car slower, same thing with putting giant wheels. All you're literally doing 90% of the time is making the car worse.
>most ricer minded people are just kids
Swallow harder, faggot
>the day /o/ considered WTCC teams "ricers"
It's because o is full of brohards that don't actually know anything about racing
people bash ricers because a lot of them do stupid shit.
Now this is fine as long as they know its stupid but want to do it anyway. But most ricers just copy other stupid shit they see and the cycle continues.
>benchracers are no-car bus cucks
>drivetrain shitposters can't drive well enough for it to make a difference to begin with
Ignorance is bliss here. I'll take a fuckwit in a riced out CE series Lancer/Mirage over a stancefag who thinks getting his hellaflushed entry level BMW stuck on a speed bump is a "lifestyle, bro".
Nothing wrong with it but it doesn't hurt to know how to drive manual either.
>why does your miata look so rice?
>it's like n-niggers, embrace it!
>did you just say nigger?
I enjoy being considered a ricer. it's like black people and the word "nigger" to me.
Japanese car culture has become a lot more about just doing what you like and being accepting of other people's choices with their vehicle, rather than making it a big dick contest that is often present in American or European car fans. At least in my experience in southern California, this has been the case.
Obviously a lot of people on this board shit talk and stuff, but in person I know that we would all at least be interested in each others cars, if not like them. A lot of my friends have cars that are in bad shape or might be considered a bit ricey, but I feel that it adds a lot of character to the car and reflects the positive and creative personality of the owner. Anyone who wrenches on their own car or takes care of it mechanically garners my appreciation and admiration, regardless of whether I like the car or not.
Pic is my meme on the mountain pass.
yeah I read through it and realized it was fucking awful so
How can I add a spoiler to my car without it looking too tryhard?
Keep it clean and simple. At the very least make sure it suits the car.
I'm 6'2 and the only issue I have is head room and forward visibility. The actual seat adjustment leaves more than enough leg room, but it's the upper body space that's an issue, especially with the sun visor blocking your view.
>comparing two different automatic systems
IS IT TRUE THAT MY NINE SPEED AUTO BIKE CAN COMPETE
Why does rwd keep losing when everything is equal?
Jesus christ autistic rwd shit posters
No, people bash ricers because they look like fucking retards with their incredibly lowered, cambered shit box with a gigantic wing spoiler and fart cannon exhaust. I've never even heard of the argument that they are the "largest auto enthusiast group", that's retarded.
You know what is the largest auto enthusiast group? Probably fucking Top Gear's audience, not the shitty American version, BBC Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, they probably have the largest auto enthusiast group in the world watching them because it's fucking top gear.
fwd fags are now posing as buttmad rwd fanboys, interesting.
Both you FWD and RWD niggers can suck on my AWD master race cock
can't hear you over the sound of my delicious power oversteer
as a RWD fag
yeah awd is probably better overall. just wish it was a little lighter. and available in small 2 door sports cars instead of hopped up econoboxes.
Now that I think about it, a lot of two door sports cars have AWD
Mercedes Benz CLS 550 4MATIC
Mercedes Benz S 550 Coupe 4MATIC
Jaguar F-Type S AWD
And plenty more
