Okay, honestly I hate the Scion tC and everyone in my area who drives one is a complete and utter faggot.
BUT in your case this car would honestly fit you very well,
2.4L so it's got more power than a little 1.8 civic and gets to 60 in a good time
Aggressive styling which I'll have to admit looks good and pulls the eyes (women too)
Rode passenger in one and handles pretty well for a FWD car
TOYOTA RELIABILITY. You'll get 200k out of this sucker for sure.
Great MPG
I like the sound system too.
I'd go for this or an Impreza, although that won't look as aggressive.

I do. I have a base model subcompact that's less than a year old. It's manual, which helps, but it has a tiny engine, fwd, and four doors. I'd really love to have a rwd coupe, even if it doesn't have a big engine. But I'm a college student with only $6-7K in the bank so I can't realistically afford a second car, especially since I live in an apartment. Shit sucks. My plan is to do some cheap upgrades to my econobox in an attempt to fill the hole in my heart until I can get a real job and afford to buy toys.

Op was looking for comfy DAILY DRIVER that LOOKED sporty. Hes not looking for a track car or a car that will decimate other cars on the road. FWD is acceptable and recommended in this situation and when looking for good MPG and overall simplicity. Here's another suggestion.
