Why are people from Washington so fucking bad at driving? If I see someone driving whom I'd normally assume is geriatric or retarded, 7 times out of 10 it's a Washington plate. Not even baiting, I just want to know why...

true, Olympic Peninsula does have some really good roads. shame it's so far away. Mt rainier national park has some good roads too and around that area. not much around Snoqualmie pass though.

Honestly, as a Vancouverite, every time I come down through WA I always find plenty of nice touge. Maybe its just cause Im completely deprived of anything north the border, grids and lights errywhere unless you go out to the valley

northern WA has good stuff. seems like all the good touges are up north by Mt baker, east of Bellingham ish. hwy 542, 547, 530, 20. Stevens pass is pretty fun too in the summer time.

I grew up on the island, there is actually plenty of touge all along the island, if you dont feel like going too far out of the city, sooke and langford have some nice ones - my favorite growing up was east sooke rd in the middle of the night, its not technically a touge but just a small residential road around the bay. Up in around shawnigan lake theres some nice ones, also just further up from there is a lake road going out of duncan to lake cowichan. Pac rim hwy out to tofino is pretty cool too.
The main problem with BC though is alot of roads are poorly maintained, or even just straight up gravel / mountain roads - if your gonna explore and find your own touges make sure to do your research before you go out, you may end up just having to turn back. I have on more then one occasion found a road that looked alright on the map, but was in reality a piece of shit that was almost undrivable without a lifted 4x4

The Mt Raineer drive still kinda sounded fun to me.

There are a couple around sooke, langford and veiw royal down south in victoria, but for the most part north of duncan any road into the mountains that isnt a highway is unpaved. That said some highways like hwy 28, stratcona parkway, hwy 4 and hwy 9 north of cambell river are all really low traffic and fun.
