Hmm let's see needed lowered an inch, the cluch assist spring needed ripped out right away, shifting to second can be a little off clunky if you don't hit it just right. Wouldn't mind a hair more low end power and it was a little too quiet off the lot. Might as well rip out the back seats to reduce pig fat as I've already dropped out 30 lbs of exhaust.

Gotten use to the clutch by now, and the 1-2 shift is rough when you're still getting use to the car. Tremecs are pretty stout though, I've heard the Ferd MT-82 will literally rattle itself apart under anymore power than above stock.
This is coming from 5ho who I think has already had to replace something internally within his trans

>>14266014 I've been looking in to some braces I've read can help, if I'm just rolling normally in traffic I actually pull the shifter into the neutral position instead of trying to pull straight down and it's usually really smooth. At 4 grand or better it slides in easy.
If it's got an extra assist spring I'd rip that bitch out.

My trans noise increased with my hurst but that's common. I've got a noise reduction kit but said fuck it. Most of the time when it will actually be making a noise is when I'm at WOT and can't hear it anyways

There is a stigma on non-v8 mustangs that is literally unshakable in the public mind, no matter how many benchraces between 80's SVO's and their respective GT variants take place. Ford could have done no new engineering, give it a corporate "angry aston martin" grin instead of the melted rmustang rendition we have now, go light on the corporate electronic crap in the name of value, and dig up an old nameplate for a cheap sport base car and suddenly sell tens of thousands.
