'87 Toyota Carina II. I loved the fuck out of that car, but in the end it had some rust in the frame that caught up to it. One of the sadder days in my life was when I had to scrap it. The payback from the salvage yard felt like fucking Judas money. I bought a '91 Mazda 323 wagon and put the engine from a 323 f in it. That was a good rebound car. But few cars will ever approach the pure comfy of my miniature Camry.

The 4.3 with a 5spd in a light mini truck was GOAT.
Cheap easy skid rid.
Ran the fucker for three months with no oil or coolant,and kept chuggin.
A high Rev shift into second got the front wheels off the ground.

Yup, I know, they're too shiny, but it's impossible to find good looking 5-star wheels with bolts around that don't a) cost as much as the car or b) look a lot worse since they're not made for 90s sleek and instead made for 00s hurr-angry-i'm-bladerunner.
I'd preferred them one or two sizes smaller, but the design has been out of production since around 2008 or so.
I expect them to fit better with less wheelgap. Which may eventually(tm) happen. But first a mememachine restoration project like pic related. Trying to find a red panda, but only thing I keep seeing are white pandas.

1986 Saab 900 SPG, bought it for $600.

Still own it, 700k miles and still boosting somehow. Picture isn't mine.

1998 Pontiac Grand AM SE sedan, 3100 with an automatic.

Picked it up my parents mechanics niece for $800, gave it hell for about 20,000 miles shredding tires and bombing it down dirt roads, hand brake slides any time it rained etc, sold it to some girl for $1200 when I got my Jeep.

I miss it a bit just for the beater factor, seats were pretty cozy and the previous owner had put in semi-decent speakers/a headunit. Suspension was super soft ala most really BIG landyachts while not being all that big of a sedan, would often bound it down bumpy dirt roads/trails at 30+ in relative comfort because it'd soak the bumps up so well.

I was an idiot and swapped it for a rusty beat to shit e36 323i because of peer pressure of having a slow 4cyl bmw... when I look back, that was really fucking dumb because none of my friends even had cars, or if they did, it was an even slower piece of shit VW golf or something.. i should have kept the 316 and done an engine swap.. much regrets ;(

Was probably a good thing. The driver side subframe rail was rotten. I bent the driver side control arm backwards about half an inch crossing a washed out road. Both rear shock towers were completely rotten.

Engine and Airbag warning lights come on at random, there's a hueg hole in the exhaust, it burns oil like a motherfucker, engine mounts are torn and the tires a shitty. It has 230000 miles on it doe and it still kinda works. I got it for free and it's definitely not the worst car ever so whatever
