What was your first car, anon?
Mine was this, -97 VW polo
Still miss it ;_;
1990 grand wagoneer. Still miss it.
55 plate fiesta zetec always in my heart
This is like the 4th or 5th first car thread in the last 2 days. But I'll bite.
nissan micra, had it in the family since 98, only needed new brake pads/tyres in the 8 years we had it. Sold it as i couldnt fit in it very well.
'87 Toyota Carina II. I loved the fuck out of that car, but in the end it had some rust in the frame that caught up to it. One of the sadder days in my life was when I had to scrap it. The payback from the salvage yard felt like fucking Judas money. I bought a '91 Mazda 323 wagon and put the engine from a 323 f in it. That was a good rebound car. But few cars will ever approach the pure comfy of my miniature Camry.
I was going to comment on that aswell, but hey; any thing that isn't shitposting is ok in my book
that thing is way cooler than my first car, Benz...
But yours is more comfortable, practical, cheaper to run... not even sure why I bothered buying it, I suppose I just wanted something fun to play around with. Had it for like four months before I somehow managed to get into the uni-college I wanted to go and therefore needed a more practical car, thus I sold it and bought the Merc
Might end up owning one again, but only if I can't get a Volvo TP21, Pinzgauer or a Volvo C303
Shame so fucking few of them were made, and so many have been butchered... the ones who are in good condition with the original engine are either not for sale or insanely priced, while the ones who are going at a "reasonable" price often have a V8-swap and missing parts
Its a bit of an unrealistic dream, but perhaps one day
...and during summer.
It's the 4-banger slushbox variant, got it from my parents. Can't part with it either, since it's been part of my life since I was two years old. Too much memories, plus it still runs like a champ and there's no way in hell I could find a car that's cheaper to maintain than this.
Had a total shitheap 93 s10.
The 4.3 with a 5spd in a light mini truck was GOAT.
Cheap easy skid rid.
Ran the fucker for three months with no oil or coolant, and kept chuggin.
A high Rev shift into second got the front wheels off the ground.
>mfw I miss that truck
Honda Civic VIII 2.2 CDTI 140CV Executive.
Still thinking that it's too much for a first car, but in love with it...
worthless piece of shit
so full of tiny and huge design flaws and badly made. Totally opposite to twingo which I own now as my 6th car
...and I still own it, albeit a bit different now.
Yup, I know, they're too shiny, but it's impossible to find good looking 5-star wheels with bolts around that don't a) cost as much as the car or b) look a lot worse since they're not made for 90s sleek and instead made for 00s hurr-angry-i'm-bladerunner.
I'd preferred them one or two sizes smaller, but the design has been out of production since around 2008 or so.
I expect them to fit better with less wheelgap. Which may eventually(tm) happen. But first a mememachine restoration project like pic related. Trying to find a red panda, but only thing I keep seeing are white pandas.
99 Astra SXi. It was a deathtrap that threatened to tear my joints out any time I braked, changed gear, accelerated, or cornered hard, but I loved that piece of shit.
meh, wouldn't hate vws if there were reliable...
>pcm goes bad
nothing new here, folks
you cunt, another stanced the dust
ugh! kill it with fire
fawking nice shite, m8
of course old lancers are indestructible
anything gm is shite didnt you know that?
the fuck people leave their cars out of the garage is beyond me
no exp. no comment.
fuck you clowns
looks like peugeot
1986 Saab 900 SPG, bought it for $600.
Still own it, 700k miles and still boosting somehow. Picture isn't mine.
1998 Pontiac Grand AM SE sedan, 3100 with an automatic.
Picked it up my parents mechanics niece for $800, gave it hell for about 20,000 miles shredding tires and bombing it down dirt roads, hand brake slides any time it rained etc, sold it to some girl for $1200 when I got my Jeep.
I miss it a bit just for the beater factor, seats were pretty cozy and the previous owner had put in semi-decent speakers/a headunit. Suspension was super soft ala most really BIG landyachts while not being all that big of a sedan, would often bound it down bumpy dirt roads/trails at 30+ in relative comfort because it'd soak the bumps up so well.
get on my level faggots
>Stage 1 weight reduction (back seats removed, spare removed)
ultimate teenage hoonmobile. still miss it. ended up understeering into a curb at about 25 mph and fucked up the front subframe. sold it to some Mexicans who never registered it apparently. who knows where it is now.
Opinion discarded. This thing kicked ass om all terrains. Beat my friend's audi quattro in the snow.
>shit instagram pic
this 1994 316i coupe, was in great condition, learned the basics of sideways on rainy days and snow in it...
I was an idiot and swapped it for a rusty beat to shit e36 323i because of peer pressure of having a slow 4cyl bmw... when I look back, that was really fucking dumb because none of my friends even had cars, or if they did, it was an even slower piece of shit VW golf or something.. i should have kept the 316 and done an engine swap.. much regrets ;(
Don't respond to the shitposter. And if you want to make it less blatantly obvious you hang out on carthrottle or 9gag or wherever, don't use "jelly" unless referring to what you put together with peanut butter and bread.
91 Toyota Camry Base Model shitbox
Slower than most scooters
I was 16 my mom wouldn't let me have RWD.
This is what I have in its place now.
1985 Nissan Sentra 1.6 5speed
>Timing belt gave away the morning I was driving it to to the shop for the timing belt & water pump
>Remember it being bitter cold that morning
Was probably a good thing. The driver side subframe rail was rotten. I bent the driver side control arm backwards about half an inch crossing a washed out road. Both rear shock towers were completely rotten.
I miss it.
>High rev second gear and kill the ignition
>Wait 4-10 seconds to allow fuel to dump into the exhaust
>Turn the ignition back on for the most brilliant backfires
>Jumped it a couple times on grim hill
>Inebriated juvenile delinquent fire lane hooning with an over loaded car
>136mph down the Zilwaukee bridge and survived the shaking
>Never ending hand brake skids
>47k miles in a little over a year with only replacing a CV axle & ignition coil after sinking it in a swamp
>Got trashed with 6 people on the outside of the car
>Turned the idle up and put it in 1st
>Tow strap tied to the steering wheel
>Smoke and Jim up top as we took the fire lanes back to the farm
I remember hating the car when I first starting driving it. However it eventually turned into my shit streak.
Mines a 03 PT Cruiser and I'm still driving it.
Engine and Airbag warning lights come on at random, there's a hueg hole in the exhaust, it burns oil like a motherfucker, engine mounts are torn and the tires a shitty. It has 230000 miles on it doe and it still kinda works. I got it for free and it's definitely not the worst car ever so whatever
What the fuck are you even talking about? My e30 wasn't even close to being stanced
2001 mercury cougar zn
leather seats were comfy as hell,
would have been a lot more fun if it had a MT
Hella jay dee em civic. The thing was a real piece but now that I don't have it I would honestly love another eg civic, pretty fun to drive for fwd
One of these. Traded a Honda MTX 125 for it.
Wish I hadn't.
