Should I buy a car or a motorcycle? I live in a shitty neighborhood with nothing to do and need something to get me places aside from a shitty bus service.
So far as I can see it
Having a car:

Bear in mind when you buy a motorcycle there's an extra $1k or so of gear to buy plus a class to get the endorsement. When you start getting into performance stuff yeah a bike is way cheaper than a comparable car but at the bottom level of "i just need to get on the road" a bike costs more.

honestly having a motorcycle can be very social, just not in the way you're thinking of it. when I daily my bike in the warmer months I often meet new biker bros to talk about waifus and circlejerk in gas station toilets with.
