ayy how do i gap a plug like this? i have one of those circle gap tools you know? the gaps gotta be .6 and it's wayy too tight right now, but i can't get a grip on the arm with it.
>MFW its too cold out to ride
Only ~5 more months, r-right?
Lets see you ride in -23 C with a 30 km/h gusts. Fucking bike wont even run when it gets below -20 unless i wrap cardboard and old cloth over the carb to keep it insulated.
>Few more days and I'll be home riding
My body is ready
Great job on not knowing bike brands
ngl the scout is one of the few cruisers I like. The design is wonderful. Looks better with a Corbin seat tho
Yep, only 5 more months bro..wait I can ride year round cuz no actual winter, sucks to be you nerd.
keep in mind celsius
Fuck I'm jealous..I've always wanted to ride a snowmobile..how does it compare to the feeling of riding a bike? Also is skiing/snowboarding as fun as people say?
09' fellow R6ian bro
Anyone here ever take motorcycle repair classes at your local community/technical college?
What was your experience like?\
Did you enjoy it?
Was it shit?
>tfw like average of 5 students per class
>same red keychain tag
Hmm, I lived in Arizona before and I have some family over there. It's usually warm or hot as fuck, but at least it's a dry heat. It also never rains. Is this correct?
This was Phoenix/Peoria area.
Fuck, that's great riding weather.
>dry year round
>warm year round
>not that many negros
Arizona sounds like pick a desert state in Australia only you get more guns.
I have never seen a real life mexican before.
any love here for small underpowered mopeds?
just bought a 50cc honda today, its done 11000km and have no idea when the drive belw was changed last, will i see any speed increase from changing it?
Why are all strays fucking gay and get fucked by niggers?
Anyone talented with Photoshop? I want to see what the GS1200 looks like as a café racer.
No, Go fuck yourself with a cactus but first you should lowside and break both your arms so mummy has to wipe your ass. Then ask mummy to fuck you with the cactus.
So like the R1200R??
Why would you do that when you can just wait for Honda to release the cb900r?
Angry we know it is you when you tell people to low slide, we also know it is you when you start talking about peoples mothers because of that whole you want to fuck your own mother thing.
welp I thought he ment he met her while ice skating and that she aint gonna be pretty after falling on her face lel
It looked like the R Nine T coffee maker bike by dem Norskies.
>is cuck the new word for "person i dont like"?
no, hipsters literaly like the idea about their Feminist girl friend being sexualy free and have sexual relation with multiple men.
What bikes are you guys holding out for updates or fixes this year?
Shame more people don't play it, absolute toilet on console, but I re-bought it on PC and I love it. The audio could be better in places, but otherwise just a massive shame it isn't more popular.
Yeah but the snowmachine will keep going 'till you let off the gas.
Speaking of hydroplaning a bike, I one crossed a river like that once. I almost didnt make it, damn pizzacutter thin wheels dont have enough surface area to keep you up for long.
One of my friends driveways floods for about 100 meters in the middle of winter, i tried it once i made it about well 50 meters before eating shit hard, the water was only about a metre deep and i was doing 100km/h, didnt break anything but fuck i was bruised, front wheel sank, i went over the handle bars then skimmed along the water.
>need fork seal specs
>check the scheduled maintenance while I'm at it
>this is only part of it
I'm sort of tempted to buy this as a 2nd bike
If only insurance for the year didn't cost the same
Mexicola is best cola
would have also raped /10
>113kw / 101Nm
why did Honda ever get rid of that headlight design.
was missing a side panel, replacement would cost 40 euros
fuck that made my own
cost me 1 euro in sheet metal and half an hours of work
in the top left and the bottom of the metal you can see a bit of foam, everywhere the metal could be touching the frame i put a strip of said foam.
Also secured the plate nice and snug against the foam so it doesnt vibrate that much
Friend that crashed his GSXR bought a new one off some asian kid. 06 1000 16k miles paid 4000 plus 120 shipping.
oh baby he got the godmachine
behold, the best litrebike engine ever made (even if it's not the most powerful overall)
I'll make sure to remind him.
>yfw a sub 130 pound Cambodian was piloting this thing around at 170 mph
make sure he tracks down the factory yoshimura tri-oval accessory pipe if he wants to replace that stocker.
It's literally the best looking exhaust pipe ever put on a bike.
4chins really slow for anyone else?
Yeah my I out the TRC on my CRF and it's the Tri Oval. I love it and I'll make sure to tell him.
Needs more yoshi stickers.
I just got a new job. I'm on my feet for 9+ hours a day walking on a sealed surface. I ride to work, which is 15 minutes away.
I've been experiencing pain in my feet because of the shit shoes I have. I ride to work in my bike boots and then change to my casual shoes.
Instead of buying a pair of sneakers, I was considering getting some riding shoes so I wouldn't have to change.
What's the opinion on riding shoes? Do they offer good foot support for walking around in? I would only use them for work and perhaps university when that starts up.
Yeah, I own two pairs of motorcycle boots. One of them is ok to walk around in but they're falling apart. The others are my track boots.
I was under the impression riding shoes were a bit of a halfway step between motorcycling boots and sneakers.
Just called the mechanic, he wants
>150€ for carb cleaning (ultrasonic + taking carb apart)
>142€ for rear tire (113€) + dismount from motorcycle, balancing (29€)
>127€ for rear tire (113) + 14€ balancing if I dismount myself
probably gonna go with the bottle of carb cleaner then.
>Been putting off bike work
>Need new tyres
>Brake pads front and back
>Oil change, coolant flush, brake fluid
>Other bike needs tyres, oil and fuel pump replaced
My wallet already aches. Bikes make me so broke.
>want to buy motorcycle but don't have enough disposable income because working part time at McDonald's
At least I can come here and look at pics of anons' cool baikus.
why do groms have such a fuckhuge following?
locked the front under braking today because i was passing in between cars and this woman was crossing the street and didnt check at all even though she saw like 7 scooters passing before me in that spot. couldnt see her until the last second, tires were cold as i had just got on the bike but i managed to keep it on two wheels and didnt crash. made me very uspet is all it was impossible to see her because there were cars stopped everywhere
just came back from a wonderfull 10km bikepushing session.
start button seems to have locked in the on position and it started smoking from the handlebars as i tried to turn it on, button lost any resistance it once had and just flops around.
how fucked am i /dbt/?
>Brake pads front and back
30€ on wemoto
>Oil change, coolant flush, brake fluid
About 40€ on any major supermarket
Literally free if not shim based.
>oil and fuel pump
Both will amount for about 40€ + shipping at the very most on ebay. You can even choose between Chinese crap or second hand crap.
It's not that much money anon. You can do it. At least you don't have to do anything too annoying like taking the yokes out or doing major surgery on the engine.
Make your own motorsports thread for quads/side by sides if you want,
But get the fuck out of the daily bike thread
No clue, does your country have any other form of accepted ID that is also accepted in other Schengen countries?
Germans have their "Personalausweis" which is a state issued ID card and fulfills that role.
Fun Story: I went to the US in '97 with my parents, when my Dad got checked by the cops (routine control/bullying) they would not accept his passport as a means of ID, they wanted to see his driving license instead.
A-a-are there any bikes that mandate 10w60?
Mine does. Not sure about the new ones. Shit's like $75 for a full oil change.
I wish it was mine
I dunno I think quads are ok. They are similar enough to motorcycles (shifting & control layout, chain drive, engines, maintenance). Biggest diference the 4 wheels and how to ride them but I guess if we're talking mechanically motorcyclists can help out.
I want to do track, but I'm scared.
>Frame sliders, sports tyres
>Spend almost every weekend on the touge
>Normally being held up by other riders rather than being unable to catch up
>Want to track
>Been riding for over a year and a half
>Still feel green
>Feel like I would embarrass myself on the track and shatter my confidence, or try too hard and crash
How do I overcome this anxiety? If I could take friends then I would feel better but they're not ready for track yet as they've only been riding a few months.
i really hope i dont have to replace the entire fucking handle since thats a nice 280,- expense i cant be fucked with dealing with right now.
i want my custom paintjob not a replacement for a 8month old handlebar
Oh well I suppose you knew what you were getting yourself into. Still, good luck with the maintenance anon. If you ain't got much money just go bit by bit, you'll eventually get there.
People go to the track with fuck all skills and just do their thing. Go out there do your thing and fuck what others think. It's all in your head.
just got back from trying out my new LED light and getting to work on editing them now.
It's super duper powerful, like I'd need to use ND filters at night if I want to use it at full power....
I actually have two 1987 trx250x's and they're just monsters. They're not really sand or motocross quads, but they're still a boatload of fun. I only made the switch to bikes a few months ago and bought a cr125r (I'm only 16, though. So I can't have a street bike yet. :(
"OH KURWA" is polish and if you translate it is like "holy shit" or "fuck" or something
i was under the impression that "kurwa" literally meant "whore".
to my english ears, saying "oh whore!" sounds utterly ridiculous. this is why you shouldn't try to translate curse words, kids. just accept they are obscene and don't even think about using them until you are very well versed in the language.
next time I'll bring the gels and match the colour temps before hand
>tfw you will never have such beatufiul pictures of your bike
it hurts 2 live
Post the most scenic picture of your bike everyone
2bh it's a matter of owning equipment capable of taking such pictures and having the skill to operate it.
Everything has a price, but that's hardly rocket sciente anon
Wtf happened to your wheel
Not very scenic but the best I got.
I almost deaded
I crashed obviously.
it doesn't work as well as when doing it with flashes in my experience so far, also that scene just had a whole heap of conflicting colour temps so matching one to the other gave you weird alien colour temps for other things, should have just stuck to a goal.
ie, I couldn't just stick with the "warm" theme for this I had to try and drab it up a bit, might try this one again but go for a warm yellowey look
>we have no idea how many Anon's or lurkers have passed on
>tfw you think you stripped the spark plug hole threads
Turns out the washer had just jammed on the plug and got released when I applied torque.
>All those anons who decided to start on big bikes
>All those anons who posted photos of their brand new powerful motorcycles
>All those anons who never posted again after one week, two weeks, three
>All those fucks I could not give
>tfw everyone else's bike is beautiful and your bike is an abused, old ass uggo
What the acutal fuck is this?
Just read their "approved" bike list, nearly all Husaberg FE/FS models are on it.
This list is a joke.
Good to hear about the height, being 6'5 most sport versions don't fit me well...
Yeah i've heard that.
I've also found out i might not be able to switch the insurance to a new bike if i sell the 400.
>tfw I'll be back in school at the end of the year
Doubt i'll be up for university but at least i'll be able to stop working shitty jobs.
How many exham do you need to take?
I'd rather be the guy on the abused uggo who's having fun like you wouldn't believe over the dude on the showroom perfect s1000rr with 2 inch chicken strips any day of the week.
Let me tell you about some bullshit
no but I really really want to try one of the new cb650f
I have the sneaking suspicion they'll be wheelie machines, the engines have nearly identical power down low to a twin but they're actually a four so they rev out further and will be smoother.
Considering it looks like it'll pop at the same RPM's as my SV + upright naked ergoes that means it'd be sick for wheelies.
