Why is the Punto the best subcompact you can buy?
>cheaper than a Polo
>good build quality, superior to the other rivals, a bit inferior compared to a Polo
>not rattles whatsoever
>great petrol and diesel engines
>arguably the best looking of the bunch
>good handling, no bodyroll whatsoever
>comfy yet firm
Only Punto I've had any contact with whatsoever was a 2012 1.2, and I didn't drive it myself. Thing was apparently gutless as shit, though perhaps that's true of all NA 1.2s, and the brakes were way harsher than they needed to be. Person I was looking with was quuck to disregard it.
Interior was nice, though.
Lel the 1.3 multijet diesel is a piece of crap. Very unreliable, just like the multiair one that can't into more than 40k kms
>mfw I luv fiat
>mfw fiat can't into "new" technology like common rail diesel injection ( Lel tech is like 30 years old) and direct injection with vvt
>multijets with more than 300k with just regular maintenance
Pls shut up.
Multijet blocks are the most reliable in their segment.
Have no idea about the multiairs, but what you said is retarded and you should feel bad.
you seem to be an idiot. fiat developed common rail tech together with magneti marelli but had to sell it to bosch because they needed the money. their diesel engines are the best money can buy.
my 1.4MA Dart is over that with no issues, though I can't say I've taken it apart and thoroughly inspected it. I've seen a lot of >multair is shit< posts recently, and as an owner of one I really have to disagree. You can even pull a fuse to disable MA and the car doesn't give a shit.
I also go a bit overboard with maintenance which is probably the reason my car hasn't blown up yet.
i only see the tipo for europe
But punto is kinda shit within it's own brand.
Why would i want a punto when bravo exists?
