Experienced drivers find them pretty tame due to the easy torque curve.

Its kind of like a Hayabusa, people love to talk up how its a beast to ride due to the power but in reality that fat as fuck torque curve means that you dont need to wring it out and live on teh edge and actually at 8/10th its very easy to ride.

Most of what Lamborghini redesigned in the Block and Heads were thrown out of the design when it came back to the Engies at Chrysler because in their view it had no consideration for low end Torque, Produce-ability, or Reliability. They also didn't like the fact that it was to be sleeveless.

The Chrysler Engies took it to themselves to wipe the slate mostly clean and finish Lamborghini's magnificence which they wrongly saw as crap.

This is why the original engine only had 400 hp. It was tuned for Torque and reliability.

Eh Chrysler, should have listened to LamboBull senpai.
