I looked at the two myself and while the Hyundai has more power in the 3.8T version, it costs way more and handles like a pig

Test drive both. Make up your own mind. The Gen Coupe doesn't handle as well but it's meant to compete with the mustang. The FR-S handles better but has a shit power curve. So basically if you want straight line power get the Gen if you want to go on the touge get the FR-S. Oh and don't listen to /o/ they find every little thing to complain about about Korea for some reason even though Hyundai has been fine quality-wise since like 2010.

Depends on what you want.
One is a masterpiece of engineering that'll improve your driving skills, the other is designed by sly gooks to put out numbers and look good on paper.
