These tires were brand new when i bought them about 7 months ago, how much longer can i use this until it absolutely NEEDS to be replaced?
They NEED to be replaced now.
You will have a blowout.
Also they're worn unevenly, you need an alignment badly.
.. god i hope this is bait
I hate thinking there are a lot of people out there like you who let tires get this bad.
surely it's easier to just turn them upside down?
This isn't camber wear idiot, even if your car came with -2.
This is severe toe wear.
This. I had that once, didn't notice because I'd always look at the tires while they were on the car.
Four months later, its in getting an oil change and tire rotation, and the guy takes one wheel off and nopes it right back on to come tell me.
You've got a couple more weeks, but what you want to do first is do a 20-30 second burnout, so that the rubber which is there right now melts and gets spread out across the tire more evenly.
Do you guys not feel your cars driving like shit?
You need a lot of toe to do that in a couple months like you and OP have stated
Stop trying to justify your piece of shit car, it's you.
I was driving my mom's Grand Cherokee the other day. I think she still has the original tires on the car after 60k miles. They aren't as bad as those in the pic, but there is barely any depth left on the treads.
I drove it to the airport last night and it started raining on the way home. I was hydroplaning in like 1/4" deep water while doing 65mph on I-95. Sketchy as fuck.
I'm going to buy her new tires real soon, I just need to find the time to take it somewhere to have them changed. I didn't realize how bad they were until last night.
OP. Buy this
Have them shipped to Firestone, or whoever can install tires, and have them do an alignment as well.
You're looking to spend about $500, but you'll have brand new tires, and a proper alignment.
What you should do with those tires is put them back on your car and see what the max speed of your car is. With less tread(spinning-weight), they say it can add up to 20mph to the top speed of a car, you should really try it OP. Make sure you do this on an empty road
>how long do i got
i don't want this to be real life
are you stupid
not everyone drives the same amount of miles and the same way with the same tires. i go through two/three/sometimes four sets of tires annually with the tread wear mostly even (unlike stancefags who use only 1/2th of the tire) from spending tens of thousands of miles each year on the touge, and i don't even do any drifting/burnouts
>how much longer can I use this
You're already well into borrowed time my dude
