I have a 07 R32. My gf has a 14 Focus ST.

The focus is way more fun and a but quicker irl. The VW is far more luxurious, and has a much nicer ride and general daily experience.

/O hates this car because its full of 17 year old poorfags who can't even afford a fucked corolla, no less a pseudo-luxury hot hatch.

Eh it got an intake, full exhaust, injectors, lo pressure fuel pump, ecu... Put a more aggressive clutch in because I'm stupid and now its grabby at low speeds. It's making north of 300 at the wheels. But that's still not gonna chop a 10 year old 3 series. Or a wrx. Or a ST. It will be a lot less of an econobox, and still more affordable than anything else making similar power with a decent interior.

Climbing into one is a pain the the ass if you have a bum hip or back or whatever. Because they're slightly bigger (and heavier) and create more turbulence in the undercarriage because of the added height, they use more fuel than their equivalent saloon or hatchback.

It's not a shitty car, it's just expensive and relatively bad as a hot hatch. If you look at it, as a comfortable car with decent interior, then i guess it's okay. But as a hot hatch, it's supposed to be fun, but it isn't compared to the competitors.
