Okay /o/ in KC, two attempts in now. Everyone wanted me to schedule it out in advance, so ONE YEAR from today we will all meet in the back area behind the old Dillons grocery store on Quivira at 2300. Looking forward to it.
>>
I work that day. Could you schedule it later?
>>
>>14206289
We need to schedule a month or two in advance if we really want a large turnout.

That said, Im still going to be at that back lot on January 9, 2017
>>
>>14206289
Can this actually be a thing? I always see the threads about the nocal meets. I'd love to go to one in the Midwest.
>>
>>14209054
Im sure it could. There are bunches of /o/ fags in KC and the surrounding area. Its just a matter of finding a day that works for everyone.
>>
>>14206486
What the fuck makes you so important?
>>
>>14209054
The midwest population is so damn spread out though.

If I met up anywhere, KC would be the best place to go.
>>
>>14209087
I'm in Des Moines. We have our own faggy little car meets downtown pretty much every Friday and Saturday. It's more popular in the summer. I just want some /o/ fags to roll with. Where you nuggets from? What do you drive?
>>
>>14211313
Niggers* lol fucking autocorrect
>>
Woah, /o/ is in KC?

I live in Olathe

A full YEAR? Good, because I don't have a cool car :(
>>
>>14211330
We can race our econoboxes bro.
>>
>>14211343

Well I will be off of Traffic Diversion by next year so I guess that's viable :)

>>
>>14211425

>>
>>14211425

not with that mindset, anon
>>
>>14211425
I do, and I was the one who suggested it to Japscrap multiple threads ago. Wyco lake then head north on highway 5 to Leavenworth.

I participated in a British car rallye out of Lawrence a few years ago and drove my mechanics right hand drive Austin Mini while he drove his MGB. It was a pretty long route that took about 4 hours to drive, but part of it involved a bit of hooning around that lake.
>>
>>14211535
any chance you can link a map of the whole route? That sounds interesting.
>>
>>14211563
I second this. Sounds pretty interesting.
>>
>>14211330
I know the feel.
>>
>>14211425
I haven't been either. A buddy and I tried to go at night but it was closed.
>>
>>14211425
ever any police?
>>
>>14206289
Why the coldest part of winter?
>>
>>14215535
Yes, park police station there.

I pulled up google maps and tried to visualize where we went exactly, but I'm not very familiar with the area and I think this was in 2012 or 13. I do remember we left Lawrence and drove the Farmer's Turnpike west alongside I70, went through Lecompton and Perry, over Perry Dam and followed the twisty roads on the shoreline along the west side going north. I remember we had a stop in Ozawkie and went east across the bridge, then must have gone through Oskaloosa, though I don't remember that part. The next place I know we were was Leavenworth because we drove right past the prison. We went south from there and the main reason I remember going around Wyandotte county lake was because we got lost as shit in all the little roads going around it and later my mechanic told me he almost crashed his MGB in that area by coming over a hill too fast and locking the brakes up for a 90 degree turn just over the crest. The route took a lot of smaller country roads for little jaunts here and there and it was by no means intended to make anyone drive fast.. the whole thing is put on by a bunch of old geezers in their fairweather british roadsters and whatnot. There were timed segments intended to force you to go below the speed limit. It was still pretty fun though, mostly MG convertibles and one father and son team had a Lotus Elise.

Did it look something like this?

I had to make two because Google maps started messing up the routes.

That's highway 5 that I was talking about >>14211494, if anyone in KC is ever looking for a fun loop that's one of my top picks.

You remember driving by the Leavenworth National cemetery?
>>
>>14211330

913 olathe checking in bro where you at? I'm down south
>>
>>14211425
I go there every now and then and I can confirm that its perfect touging. Tight turns, hills, and a big straight on top of the dam.

Cops patrol there all the time though, especially at night. So a weekday would be the best bet.
>>
There's a restaurant at Metcalf and 91st that has little car meets on either fridays or saturdays (dont remember which).

we could meet there and go racing after
>>
>>14217524

All year round?

What's it called brah? Would be nice to know for this summer.
>>
>>14217808
Not that guy, but it's Longbranch on the NE corner of 91st and Metcalf. And I don't believe they're year round, but they do have them spring-fall.

There's also meets at Winsteads off 103rd and Metcalf(SE Corner), and of course there's cars and coffee at KC Trends.
>>
>>14218083

Thanks for the info.
>>
I'd rather meet with /o/ than go to a normie meet. You guys probably know what you're talking about more than some jackass who went out and bought an automatic "muscle car". I know there'd be people who know their shit but I'm already used to /o/
