i have a 2015 lancer, bought it last January and i still daily drive my 20 year old truck. its terribly boring but at-least gets half decent gas mileage and is AWD. we really only use it for long trips

My wife just bought a 2015 Civic. The trim just above the base model. There's parts I like and parts I don't.

>Steering column, the bottom sticks out for some reason making it impossible to knee steer if you have long legs
>MPG gauge, makes me feel like a cunt any time I need to accelerate
>LED screens, they are fucking everywhere would so much rather have one for the radio/backup cam and the rest just disappear

I have a '74 Hilux and a '13 Tacoma and as far as regular driving the Tacoma is 10x better. As far as being in tune with the car the hilux is better as it only has power brakes and super thin body.

2015 hyundai accent, its good on petrol, invisible to police and is comfy compared to my impreza but it isn't as fun

2015 Ecobrostang. I love it. I was always building up old cars, but never seemed to get them finished, and then moved to an apartment. So no room, and desu getting too old for that shit. Mustang was offered @ 0% financing and I couldn't pass it up. No regrets, and haven't looked back since.

2014 Golf GTI. Bought for $16k used because some retard was selling it during the emissions scare.

2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek 2.0 w/Manual Transmission.

Other than those two, all my cars and trucks are old. I'm probably going to be buying a luxury car of some sort soon.

The Golf is a decent car, but honestly I'm not much of a fan. I impulse bought it because of the amazing deal. I might end up re-selling it. The Crosstrek is pretty great, and I get a lot of use out of it here in the mountains. It holds all my work equipment in the back with the seats folded flat, it's nice and compact, handles well, and rides nice. Not super sporty compared to a WRX, but the manual really helps over the sluggish CVT version. There are a few options I can do with the engine, but for now I'm thinking of just holding off on that until the warranty expires.

I miss my miata now i have to drive "everything is controlled by electrical systems" manual in new cars suck dick. I have a veloster turbo this thing has a gay ass gas pedal you cant heel toe and the gas isnt a throttle isnt by wire its electrical and you get shitty response. So to answer your question. Fuck no

86 owner, it's the most fun I've had behind the wheel. I drove a handful of disembodied-feeling automatic cars over Christmas, and coming back to my own car was like I was finally driving for real again.

Love driving it
I love having Recaros, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control and a modern ECU. Those are about the only luxuries in the car, which are about the only 'frills' I thought were necessary.

Other than that it just you, the tach/speedo, the shiftknob and 3 pedals. I don't touch much in the car besides the steering wheel and shift knob.
