But do insurance policy makers not look internationally when cars like these get released in the US? Are they not gonna anticipate cheap Drift missile gtst's? Furthermore, will I see a rate hike if I get one now and then later on it becomes a trouble child for insurance companies even if I have a clean slate?

Considering its age couldn't you register it as a classic car and get insurance for that?

no mechanical problems have been listed but neither has service history so i dont know whether it's a good idea or not.
have seen a few other versions of this wagon going for the same price though
