Came out in 2007 senpai. And 8 years is a huge difference. that's the difference in technology and speed from a frist year mk3 supra to a mk4 supra. Or a z31 to a TT z32.

Development started in 2002 right after R34 production ended.
2001-220 was the first concept.
Around 2005 is when the Nissan showed of the final prototype version of the car, for what the production version would look like.

I know those wide bodied V35s were from 2004-2005
I know they had R35 bodied development cars in 2006 when Toshio Suzuki was development driver

Why does it take so long for Nissan to do redesigns on their entire fleet? The Titan went 12 years before it finally got a redesign. Are they just putting all their eggs into all-new cars and concepts that will never be?

To be fair the GTR has been continually refined and updated.

I don't remember people having a problem benching the GTR against the C6. That was just a rebodied C5 that came out in 96.
