>how hot do you want it
>how hard do you want it
>where do you want it
This is the only acceptable way to do climate control.

My car has some sort of blend dial on the vents that changes the amount of air brought in from the engine vs the amount of air brought in from outside.
>heating legs while blowing cool air in my face
good feels
>>14188823
This.
Toes get cold but god damn I can't stand turning on the heater otherwise because I get hot as fuck.

>not having dual zone temp control
>not having dual zone directional control
>not having automatic fan control
>not having activated charcoal cabin filters

>>14188838
>hey, can you turn up the heat, I'm cold
>hey, the temperature in here is only 15 degrees Celsius and my ideal temperature is 22 degrees Celsius
What sounds like something a personal would say.
>>14188863
Considering that's in fahrenheit and I live in the US, you're right, no one is ever going to mention 'Celsius' in my car
>>14188863
15c is basically the perfect temperature though
>dealing with this sack of shit
extra hilarious since they went to dials in the e90 which i like a lot. digital readout of temperature but an actual dial for changing it
but no, e39? fucking clicky shit
it doesn't even respond that fast, i have to baby it and press it slowly to go down
just give me knobs as inputs and digital readouts as outputs and i'm fine
>>14188904
Another thing I always see on BMW's with that climate control is that the paint/coating comes completely off the buttons
>liking the tactile, immediate control of buttons/dials that can be changed with muscle memory
>not using touchscreens that require you to stare at them and navigate menus
IT'S 2016 I MEAN COME ON
>>14188904
Are you serious? The climate control was literally the only perfeclty functioning system on my 540i.
>>14188798
In Texas
>February-december
All the way cold, 3/4, top only you heathen
>January
Just below half way between cold and hot, 2, feet-defrost
>>14188939
well i mean
it works
i just hate HOW it works
What does this do
>>14188979
Recirculation
>>14188979
Recirculates cabin air instead of pulling in air from the outside
>>14188798
>quoting furry car reviews verbatim
Faggot.

the touch screen is the second worst invention in the history of our species, sitting only slightly behind the nuclear bomb

>>14189071
ejecto seato cuz :)
>>14189037
The existence of nuclear weapons has made war between great powers not an option, saving millions of lives. Touchscreens are literally worse than the Bomb.
>>14189096
>saving lives
>in an overpopulated world
>a good thing
>>14189119
>overpopulation myth
I hate people just as much as the next bloke but we are not overpopulated
There are just too many muslims and africans
Not using based E150 climate control.

2 Zone AC > OPs crap from 1912
Two easy knobs, one left one right to adjust the temp in each of the zones, a few buttons to change where air goes, thats it
>>14190573
>based
>cant control position independent of a/c
pick one
>>14191435
>easy knobs to adjust temp
Calling it easy doesn't make it easy. Most people are probably gaming the thermostats rather than setting their actual temperature preference. Who the fuck is autistic enough to a preferred temperature?
>>14188798
I hate the air conditioning in my focus so much
it has + and - buttons for temperature and intensity
if you want to go from 18°C and lowest intensity to high temperature with full intensity it takes maybe 20 seconds because those buttons change the value so slowly
constellations like in OP's pic are much better, just turn two knobs to the right and you're done
Only thing I dont like about this is every time I do anything, change temp by 1 degree, change fan intensity, etc. it beeps. annoying, high pitched, can't figure out how to stop it.
Want it five degrees warmer? EEP EEP EEP EEP EEP
oh you pushed it too fast so it only went up 4 degrees but it beeped five times anyway gonna have to hit it once more EEP.
>get in car in winter
>turn it to 90 degrees
>get in car in summer
>turn it to 60 degrees
Juggle it around and eventually wind up at 68-72 degrees
Thank god for climate control...so much easier than:
>get in car in winter
>Max hot
>get in car in summer
>Max cold
Juggle it around and eventually wind up at some random red/blue setting
>>14188838
This guy gets it
>>14191449
68 in the winter, 72 in the summer. It's not autism, plenty of people like temp control. Once you set a temp, regardless of temp changes outside, it keeps cabin temp consistent. Automatic temp control also won't blast the fan in the winter until the engine is actually able to provide warm air.
>>14191519
Changing a thermostat to 90F in the winter or 60F in summer will not cause it to heat or cool the car any quicker. It will cause it to run longer, to try to achieve the target temperature, but it won't make it any hotter or colder any faster.
>>14188798
Watching RCR again? Smh /o/
>>14188798
Summer; nearly as cold as it gets/as cold as it gets depending on how warm it is outside. Front vents and legs.
Winter; full heat until the cabin has warmed up properly, then about halfway onto the blue. Front vents & windshield until the cabin is warm, then front vents and legs
Shit picture, but you get the idea
21,5°C with automatic fan control
